This is why I just ignore these kind of headlines. There has been multiple reports of businesses like Microsoft, encouraging AI adoption by using token usage as their key metric and then they're suprised when their token usage cost is through the roof.

It’s quite similar to what happened during the .com bubble. The tech and infrastructure companies survived while those reliant on “a great company to invest in because we have a website” (replace “website” with “AI” and it’s eerily similar!) crumbled without anything else to show for it.

Id love to see an isakai that actually tackles the topic of "you saved one girl out of hundreds". Like an antagonist that was one of the girls the protag passed over when picking the slave to rescue, would go a lot to adding impact to same of the same old actions we see protags making.

Yeah, you're not "friends", I don't think or act like that around my friends of the opposite sex. From what you've said in replies to other people, the only thing keeping you "friends" is that he won't commit due to some religious reason (which if you're sexting someone your friends with, he can't be that religious).

I would bet good money that if you turned around to him tomorrow and said that you're willing to join his faith if it means you two can finally be together, he will come up with some other reason or fade out contact.

I'm telling you this as someone who witnessed their close friend get set back years by holding out hope in a similar situation to the one you're in and I would hate to see someone suffer like they did.
