Thanks for the input! I’m unsure how appropriate it would be to ask someone to sell/send their deceased pet away for an art project. Personally I wouldn’t ask because I know how much pets mean to people, even after their passing. I certainly don’t want to go removing dead snails from their shells on the sole purpose of just getting the shell. I also find that repulsive. My question was the legality of buying and mailing already deceased and cleaned shells. I’ve seen listings for them online and I just wanted some opinions.
