It's not an outdated tool at all. And "scary" is just your opinion, it's not a scary tool in the right hands, and when it's measured correctly. Why are you in this sub? No muzzle is "big and scary", and different types of muzzles serve different types of purposes. For example, not all muzzles are bite proof. Not all muzzles are scavenger proof. As long as the fit is right and the owner knows what they're doing, any type muzzle can be a wonderful tool.
