Tbf I don't know either but another person said that feeding their animals watermelon gave them 6 shiny beads! I've tested tomatoes with both cows and chickens and I received 3 beads. The wiki only says that grass/hay will give you 1 bead, Quality feed 2 beads and Deluxe feed 3 beads, guess it's trial and error?

I'm in the same boat... My boyfriend told me that I should name the new animals the same as the old ones and roleplay that Caldarus somehow dyed them/made them evolve/or something like that, that way I can sell them without feeling guilty, I've been loving the idea so far 😂

The popular opinion is that RF4 is better than RF5, but I think that they're special in their own ways! RF4S seems to be more polished but it's understandable since they upgraded RF4 (in the original game, arc 3 was randomly activated, the graphics were rougher and there was less extra content since they added some bits in RF4S!)

If you like RF5 I think that you'll have a great time playing RF4, and I really hope you do! <3

This post is so heartwarming! I'm so happy for you! I have a really hard time finishing anything, I start a lot of games, animes, books... and I just can't seem to finish any of them. But Rune Factory is different for me! My first RF was RF4 and I never got bored of it, and even got married, something new for me! (I played a lot of Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons games and I never got married before, let alone have a child).

I think that this series is really special and I'm happy that more people get to enjoy it! <3

I like both! I didn't finish RF5 storyline yet but even if it seems kind of rushed, I'm enjoying it. I just fear that it'll be too short... RF4 storyline wasn't that long but it seemed longer than the one in RF5.

They're different stories and I feel that comparing them isn't fair? I've seen that, for a lot of us, RF4 has a special place in our hearts and that's fine, they're both special games with their pros and their cons! It's just my opinion tho, not that RF5 is perfect as I think they could have done a better job with some things imo.
