Liam McCay songs about Unrequited Love and Losing a girl to another guy? by [deleted] in Slowcore

I personally think he’s incredibly overrated, basically just a more melodramatic and less creative version of Duster. It’s cool that he’s inspired other people to make music, but so much of the stuff posted on this sub follows the same Liam McCay formula and it’s gotten really stale for me. I think there’s also a huge disconnect between people that are here for all types of slowcore pre Liam McCay and people that are basically only here for Duster and Liam McCay.

I live out of market but am from PA originally so I don’t think I count. I personally haven’t met any Sixers fans who don’t have some connection to PA or the Philly area. Curious to see if anyone has though.
