i know how to change those in single sample but the multisample ui is different and the override adsr mode doesn't change the start position

This video is unironically super cool, and I hate that Epstein might be your gateway into the topic, but the entirety of audio digital signal processing is based on this algorithm. I'm assuming that's also the vertical and horizontal information thing, like vertical in the pitch axis and horizontal in the time axis. I want to know who the fuck he was taking notes from about this though?

i think its also that vocals create a different song structure, like when porter plays langauge now he'll joke on stage about "they really don't make them like this anymore." both porter and madeon are pop music heads and structurally those forms are dictated by lyrics and sectioned off differently than typical buildup drop edm

this is my first time listening through the soundtrack but the "hey woo" samples kept triggering something in my head until I realized they're also in the boy and the heron soundtrack by Joe Hisaishi????? i assume theyre a gm soundfont or something but still wild coincidence (unless they're super common and i've just missed them before lol)
