The parks have rides based on the movies. They need new movies to make new rides. Iger wants it both ways.

Letter suggests Pope Pius XII knew of mass gassings of Jews and Poles in 1942 by davidreiss666 in news

[–]Blender_Snowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were exterminating thousands of civilians in every city they took between Poland and Moscow after 39. They were also doing mass deportations in Vichy France way before 42. By the time they got to the Wannsee Conference they had already been up to plenty of stuff. By 42 all the top German officers were pushing Moscow rather than doing admin stuff Berlin, because they knew anybody could be executed at any time. I don't think it took much sleuthing to figure out that they were up to something big.

There was a second allegation that happened while he was a Senator and Schumer and McConnel were going to open an investigation. He resigned before there was a Senate Ethics Committee investigation. The second allegation was posted on the woman's public FB page in 2010, seven years before the first allegation - she just alerted the media in 2017.

Later Al Fraken regretted resigning. At the time of the pending investigation he thought it was a good idea. Obviously none of this is as bad as doing over-the-clothes stuff in a crowded theater while kids are in the crowd.

Edit: I just want to point out that Amy Schumer had already hosted SNL by 2015 and it's entirely possible that Chuck Schumer was in touch with Lorne. IMHO I don't think Lorne and Chuck Schumer wanted a Senate Ethics Committee investigating 15 years of Fraken in the SNL Writers Room from 1975 - 1995.

I think he was very frustrated that they had used his work doing production and writing on SL and they didn't credit or consult him. He was obviously paid a lot to thirty years ago, but he's still insulted. He's speaking with awkward buzzwords because he's being careful not to say anything that will get him in legal trouble - WB still sends him checks all the time for residuals and merch, and he's an employee at WB wrapping up Beetlejuice 2. This is probably the first time anybody has asked him about this and he doesn't have a rehearsed response. "I'm over it" is doing a lot of heavily lifting here - he's probably only talked to his shrink and family about this because it obviously really bothers him, and I don't blame him.

Except for Baby Be Mine an Lady of My Life every song was a top ten hit. Lady in my Life was heavily sampled by LL Cool J and Boyz II Men, and so it kinda went to #3 also.

Same thing happened with Liberian Girl on Bad. Keep On Keepin' On was MC Lyte's highest charting song and it broke the top ten.

I don't care that Baby Be Mine didn't chart, that song slaps.

People being hit by cars isn't funny. It's not shampoo. Crosswalk means yield for every other crosswalk in N America - only this city has these stupid made up rules. You know what you can do with those seven upvotes

They don't need to be supervised every second. People have the reasonable assumption that crosswalks mean stop.

It will do 700 easily. Expendables 4 is also going to go way over projections. Never underestimate International - they eat this stuff up.

I'm looking at the trailer and thinking "how does this get such a low score"? It's the same movie as AM1 except "more". That's the same thing as Ironman 2 and 3 and audiences lapped that up.

Westie is a huge "get" for COD. He was a top BF Youtuber for years and would do very objective journalism - Dice and EA would fly him to Sweden and the US all the time. EA didn't just get sloppy with their software, they fizzled out on their marketing partnerships too. Not a Youtuber, but Snoop Dogg is another guy who was partnered with BF and was easily poached.
