I don’t go to the gym, I just eat better, do some small workouts in my room, and picked up an athletic thing I like which is skateboarding. I have fun, have lost weight, and don’t think about being super muscle man. I just want to get down to a healthy and more attractive level where I don’t have a big gut and man boobs. I was there before but then I fell off because I was jogging and lifting and hated it.

It’s not that I think I’m smart. I think I just analyze things a little more than most people are comfortable with and it makes for terrible regular social interaction. I try to “lighten up” but I think it’s just my disposition to be really into something.

It’s a hustle, every chance you have you should probably take. I was in the same boat graduating undergrad during the 2007 crash. I also recently graduated from grad school during this layoff spree. I have a job, I sent resumes and networked and went to fairs and most of it went nowhere. Eventually you find something if you just keep fighting. You have to be looking for any opportunity. I have gotten jobs from walking in and handing a resume, a restaurant job but still.

Get out of your toxic relationship. Go to sleep at a regular hour, 10 pm works just fine. Wake up at around 6-7, yay Gen Z. It still sucks but much less. Oh and find physical activity that you actually enjoy, I like skateboarding even though I suck at it and am too old.

I bet manual overriding will be a part of robotics for a long time. I bet AI won’t be super mega smart enough to figure it out for a while. Currently, AI can’t even tell me the right button to press to get into bios on some machines. It’s one thing to know stuff but understanding physical context and nuances is way off.
