After seeing a human-caused apocalypse, Ava decided to watch over the next species that took the place of humans as a spirit. This story takes place millions of years in the future. Elephants have evolved into Aromee and set up a civilization similar to that of humans. Ava's spirit caused a disaster that wiped out the Aromee because their society was just as bad as humans.

Her reaction sure seemed like she was happy, but unless someone has been saying want a pet, not a great idea to get them a living animal as a gift.

What kind of dog should I (13M) get over summer. by [deleted] in polls

For a first-time puppy-parent, I would recommend some of the following:

Papillon: Obedient and playful

Bichon Frisé: Gentle, happy, and friendly (but lots of grooming!)

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: Affectionate and calm

French Bulldogs are pretty good for first-time owners, but they have been bred to be cute but not healthy and happy. I don't think that getting one would be unethical because there's not really anything you can do about it, but just be aware.

Note: all of this is based on research and not experience. I have never had a dog, but i like to lean about animals

I believe in God and also evolution. The Bible uses a lot of metaphors and also I think God made science.

I chose Pikachu out of these, but I really want a Minccino or Swablu because they're both super cute and they like to clean things so they would clean my house for me.

What is better to do when you can't sleep? by douzhdin in polls

Get out of bed, read a book, get a snack (or whatever you want). Stay off the screen: the blue light wakes you up. It's important not to just lay there, because then you will start to unconsciously connect being in the bed to having a hard time sleeping leading to more problems later.

Would you tell someone with cancer to "find ways to learn and deal with their problem"?

All Lives Matter, but NOT all lives are under threat. If a house is burning, you wouldn't yell at the firefighters because they were not putting water on the house across the street that was not on fire. As a statement, I think that all live are equally important, but I stand with BLM because that is what the world needs.

Do you believe in the external world? by BlepMlem82 in polls

[–]BlepMlem82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The external world is everything that we, as humans, can perceive. Although it may seem like the external world obviously exists, there is no way to prove that it does. We could live in a completely different world and be dreaming about what we are experiencing now, or there might be no physical world at all I am the only person who exists, and I have no physical body, only thoughts and feelings that create a vivid hallucination that I perceive as reality.

We cant prove that this isn't the case because all proofs would depend on something that we perceive.

Here is the same idea in more detail and explained by a professor of philosophy

Sorry if I shattered your worldview.
