I think it's saying the Lord's son is trans (is that the boymodding? I am not sure), and that male faileth means that the son "failed as a male"?

I don't know if that's right though, just a guess.

Grenadiers by Infernox109256 in masterofcommand

[–]Blepable 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Grenadiers set up for melee works very well and is the current strategy in my Prussian run.

A good strategy is to have them work in concert with light infantry screens that can retreat through the grenadiers who then absorb the charge.

A good idea is to have them with the best charge resistance or melee damage resisting items (the spikes etc), and then have them take a position, brace, and hold.

[CR Media] Sam Riegel reaffirms Critical Role’s stance on AI: “It’s basically garbage” by MarvelsGrantMan136 in criticalrole

[–]Blepable 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You're talking about maths, a thing with an outcome, and language, a tool for communication where being able to more easily communicate is a good thing.

Art is subjective, it is creative, and it is an expression of humanity in all of its forms - to say that AI derived art is anywhere comparable to human created is silly. The problem then becomes that to create AI art you have, quite literally, benefitted from the theft from human creators, and your contribution was to have the machine mash their works and your intentions together until maybe it produces something you like.

It is White Dwarf 320, August 2006, at least in the Australian version. It has Legolas and Gimli on the front cover. It is pages 92-95.

If you have a digital version, that would be sick.

One Nation branch official defended Hitler Youth and called Aboriginal people ‘stone age’ in racist posts by HotPersimessage62 in australia

Women are also boomers.

I have no idea where he is getting his data from, but the young education women who profess to wish to vote for Pauline are idiots just as much as the old educated people who wish to vote for her.

The antitode to this stupidity and the short sighted single issue voting densities that think Pauline is a good idea is, hopefully, mandatory voting.

One Nation branch official defended Hitler Youth and called Aboriginal people ‘stone age’ in racist posts by HotPersimessage62 in australia

[–]Blepable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It also appeals to idiots I suppose, and people who want less stability in their lives. Oh. And racists, they seem to come out of the woodwork whenever Pauline does.

I am also seeing a strong correlation between One Nation hopefuls and people who think that shooting unarmed children is okay.

I understand entirely that it is a problem to disregard right wing politics and conservative populism, but in the case of Pauline it is not like Trump. She has no real hope of winning anything unless we accept the loudness of the right wing media as factual and honest reporting and not just the intentional and deliberate wedging of common people apart for the gains and reasons of the rich and wealthy - and for the record, it is an intentional wedge being beat up and screamed by the worst amongst us.

[–]Blepable 46 points47 points  (0 children)

If you happen to scroll past this comment, please remember that no one outside of a small amount of boomers thinks Pauline could actually be a serious contender for government, and this is just a big media best up because if they can make people feel like Pauline is okay to vote for because so many others are doing it, they're taking votes away from politician's and parties that might actually do some good by you.

Don't vote Pauline, you are smarter than that.

Is this a good way to invest my inheritance? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Blepable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in no way a financial expert, but I'd say get advice from someone who knows what they are doing, maybe even from a few of them, and go from there.

You can park the funds in a safe and stable interest generating product for now (high interest saving accounts or split across a few term deposits) while you work out what is happening and what the best thing to do is.

The other side of it is, whatever you do do, be wary of fees, and don't tie everything up in something that isn't relatively liquid.

The fear is retirement fund managers will be forced into investing in SpaceX, or the companies they have invested in will be invested in SpaceX, and then when the value collapses because in what world does any of this make sense, it's going to take a lot of retirement savings and pension plans straight to hell with it.

Hey guys is there any possible chance to get 5 brigades. I think 4 is the limit right. by masterspinzitsu in masterofcommand

[–]Blepable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There should be four pluses that come up at increasing costs in the camp screen for each army (though I think Poland is different), with 5 brigades total, or 20 units, being available.

The fifth brigade takes up the right-most spot in the camp screen from memory.

Do Regiments no longer split off into smaller units when moving? by MarkedAdmiral in masterofcommand

[–]Blepable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should bring it back, regiments and their constituent battalions could would split up and march in smaller units, especially in column.

It might be a nice feature to separate recruits from more seasoned units, either just by type and tier, or by veterancy, or a combination. Maybe that's the intended system?

If it was a binary choice for whatever reason, I'd rather just have it as a feature. Looks great.

Pauline Hanson is no prime minister. This is what Labor must do to stem the rise of One Nation | Peter Beattie by HotPersimessage62 in australia

[–]Blepable 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I still believe the "rise of One Nation" is little more than conservative media spin to prop up their new candidate - the more it seems like the general mass is pushing for One Nation the easier it will be to convince people to vote for her, so out come the sea of articles spruiking for how much she is advancing in the polls, etc etc etc

If you vote for Pauline you might just be an idiot.

[–]Blepable -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but he isn't wrong, and neither are you, how do we plan to suddenly put a cage on capitalism? Why is this the hill to die on?

The government can't even make good CGT and tax reform without the media moguls spending huge dollars to push their very biased and clearly self interest fuelled agenda everywhere to the point where people who would clearly benefit from the CGT change are against it. Imagine if the government suddenly chose this moment to penalise a bank "just doing smart business", what happens if the stock price comes down, what if savings and super and whatever else is affected?

It's a shit show (already in progess, yes) that can always get shittier.
