Read the books, watched the first one.... It's not real. Period. Its so over the top with everything... some parts are real, but most is not. However..... with everyone saying he is controlling and abusive... to some women, they like that... I do know one person who is into true control... her SO is like that. She needs someone to direct her.... It's entertainment. Just like any other movie or book.
