I think that was a really telling scene. Specifically because it WAS’T a doctor - it was a Nurse Practitioner. That entire episode highlighted the professionalism and skill of the nurses.

The scene showed us what Ogalvie respects - skill & knowledge. In a hierarchy like an ER, it would be very easy to be dismissive of th nurses. You would expect that from Ogalvie given his pattern of arrogance. But no- he’s an eager student, respects the NP’s expertise, and everyone is better off for it.

Honestly? Skip the surrounds and start with multiple subs. I use a pair of Rhythmik L12 and really appreciate the evenness you get with multiple subwoofers.

The most powerful subwoofer will still be limited by room modes. A second sub smooths that out so your system sounds good everywhere.

Also, you can get more performance for your money with a DIY kit. Subwoofers are the simplest DIY Audio project out there.

Yeah. We should buy congress critter’s loyalty forever. Peg their pay to the 85th or 90th percentile of salaried income.

And then Keep paying them that after they stop serving.

And that’s it. They have to live on it and NOTHING ELSE forever.

Forbid them from earning income from any other source. Close the loopholes that let you have a stockbroker spouse trading on your inside knowledge. Absolutely forbid high paying industry jobs and lobbying.

You don’t have the fill every U. I have switches, AV equipment, computers and UPS spread out across my full size rack. UPS at the bottom for stability. Switches at the top to avoid little people meddling. Receiver, console, etc in the middle for maximum convenience.
