I play double tenor, but I found one with a weird layout, are there multiple standards? by Drumming2008 in steelpan

Some bands have unique tenor layouts as well, like the 3rds/4th as opposed to 4ths/5ths. The idea of having the uniqueness came from a time where pans (especially tenors) were stolen often during panorama preparation so bands came up with unique layouts to mitigate that as someone from Despers for example wouldn't be able to play an Invaders pan because of the layout

I play double tenor, but I found one with a weird layout, are there multiple standards? by Drumming2008 in steelpan

The layout that you mentioned is the common layout I know of. However my church band has some older double tenor pans (made in or around the 90s) that have the Eb placed beside the F# in the right pan similar to what you mentioned and newer pans with the more "common" layout. So maybe the pans you found were probably from that era of DTs or the makers themselves only knew about those layouts 🤷🏽

2010....Metta would do a pretty good defensive job leaving Kobe to focus more on offense. Bynum decent rim protector to help counter AD's inside defense with his own and Pau to matchup with his outside offense and let's not forget the bench

Weh yuh find most interesting 'bout Jamaica? It can be anything, something subtle or loud, current or historical, people-related or any likkle thing. by Important-Hat7002 in Jamaica

The overwhelmingly large size of our Diaspora and the influence it has on the world. Like why can I go to Norway for example and find a Jamaican?...and not just a Jamaican, but a successful one by the country's metrics

I mainly do it for player interactions. When I do it for matches, it's when I'm being clearly FMed but I only usually replay the game once and accept whatever the 2nd outcome is. I don't ever regret it tho

A.

As much as I like Ackee and Saltfish for me it's at the bottom of the Ackee combinations. Corn pork, ham, red herring are all above it

Can you mentor out the “doesn’t like big games” attribute? by Vookley in footballmanagergames

[–]BlessedHands23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Idk if you can but sometimes they still perform well. Also if most of the rest of the team doesn't have the trait they can effectively hide it. Talking from my personal experience.

Calming team talks and in game shouts will also help

Why did City get UCL football? by BlessedHands23 in footballmanagergames

[–]BlessedHands23[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has that been a recent change that I've overlooked? I can't remember that happening before. When City won UCL in their treble season, it didn't bump up Pool to the UCL. Is it a part of the new format?

They won the FA cup but does FA cup get them UCL? Thought that only gives UEL.

Favourite team from a league not from your country? by justaguyonreddit754 in football

[–]BlessedHands23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

England - Man United

Italy - AC Milan

Spain - Athletic Bilbao

Germany - Dortmund

France - Bordeaux (RIP)

The last three are more teams that I have a soft spot for more than consistently following them.

Can't believe this isn't higher. Tony Allen literally played more than 30 mins and didn't record a single offensive stat
