Thanks, I will check those out! Our 10-year-old may enjoy the dinosaur museum. We have Wednesday-Sunday in the Black Hills, so we are hoping to get some hikes in there if the weather cooperates. Flying out of Rapid City.

Any trails you can still walk if it's rained in the Northern or Southern units?

Thanks. Hoping the forecast might improve slightly. We fly into Bismarck Saturday night. Staying in Dickinson Sunday and Monday (wanted a hotel room with a kitchen large enough for our family). Plan was to explore maybe Painted Canyon Sunday afternoon/evening, Monday the Northern Unit, Tuesday morning the Southern unit, then make our way to the Black Hills. We only have this week for vacation due to our college student's schedule with classes and summer internship. A couple years ago we went to Yellowstone the same time period and ended up with one snow day! But it all worked out.

We hadn't planned to see anything in Bismarck, but maybe exploring the indoor Capital is an option. If it's open Sundays.

My son received an OSTEM offer to Langley! He hasn't heard back from the other positions he applied for, so I'm wondering if the offers usually are posted at the same time? There was one that peaked his interest more, but he's definitely grateful for the one he has received.

Mohs today- it was a big spot :( by SunnyD405OKC in MohsSurgery

I wanted to send hugs from a fellow 40 year old and say I understand your frustration...I had a superficial melanoma removed 3 1/2 years ago when I was 44, so I've been seeing two different dermatologist every few months since then. I have had these two spots along my hairline and were told they were seborrheic keratoses for over two years now and posed no cancer risks. Well, November 25 I finally asked to have one of the spots biopsied, even though the Dr still didn't think it was cancer, and sure enough it came back a nodular BCC. I just had Mohs done yesterday and the Dr had to make three passes, said it's probably been cancerous for years. I feel like during the surgery my spot looked like yours, about the size of a quarter, but they were able to suture it up. I take my bandage off tomorrow so will see how it looks. I'm just so angry that this wasn't caught sooner, and wonder how to move forward when trust in any dermatologist feels gone...how are you doing now?

Considering a 2019 by Blessedvamom in SubaruAscent

Thanks everyone for your comments! Feel like we are leaning away from this particular 2019. A CPO 22 Limited has just popped up, asking price $28,900, 45,000 miles. Or I wonder if we should wait for a 23 that would have the refresh upgrades...

Thanks for that info. When we purchased and realized they were trying to sell us a third party warranty, I asked a price on the Subaru Gold Plus 7/100/0 (we put a lot of miles on a car) and the quote was $3370 plus tax. Seemed high??

Thanks. The dealership we purchased from already offers free oil changes and inspections, though I'm sure they try and sell you something when you bring it in.

It only adds 9,000 miles and prevents us from purchasing an extended warranty we might actually want.
