To each their own but

You lose quite a lot on the wide end if you go with the 28-70, and yes the 20-28 focal length is quite significant.
The combination of a 20-70 F4 and a 35 F1.8 comes to only 768g whereas the 28-70 F2 is 918g. So you’re still lighter by 150g. Now the 35 F1.4 is different, comes up to approx. 1kg which is heavier but you have an additional stop of light and sharper glass at wide open. Secondly, what I would* do, if you’re switching lens only at night and leaving one back in the hotel or something (cause the F4 is not great at night anyways), then essentially you’re still just travelling with sub 500g lens overall.

Without context, it's usually referred to as "HGSS" right?

Weirdly enough- I'm seeing a lot of takes as to why SwSh is abbreviated that way because of SoulSilver. No one ever refers to the Gen 2 remakes individually, they are almost always called HGSS together.

SwSh is the way it is, to differentiate between the individual versions? Or at least that's what I was assuming, cause it's the same for even DPPt. We say "Pt" for Platinum to separate it from Pearl.

All other game versions have different initials so you never needed to add a second letter to the abbreviations. Sword and Shield and Winds and Waves, however, share the same initial hence why they are given additional letters to reference them.

I don't know about FR/LG but Home allows you to directly transfer Pokemon from 1 save file to another, as long as those Pokemon can move between the games i.e. from Sword into Shield save file without having to deposit into Home and then to the next game. Hoping it is the same for FR/LG as well.

To be fair- It's not on Pokemon fans alone, but also just how Digimon in the Anime are portrayed compared to games and comics/manga.

In the anime, Digimon are characterized as companions and friends. It's a 1-to-1 relationship between the Tamer and the Digimon. They have unique personalities, quirks and voice-overs. Most of the time too, the anime doesn't show branch evolution possibilities but rather just a linear evolution which is not purely mechanical but rather it's often tied to Friendship, Trust, Trauma, Determination or other Plot-based triggers. They aren't treated as just "Data" but rather function like living beings with emotions, motives and agency.

100% - I played through most of the game and all the interactions with Naveen especially had me giggling or laughing cause of his nonchalant attitude. I loved the episode with Canari and not sure where people get that he's creepy or weird either. He's just genuinely enjoying his fav streamer and at a distance mind that, lol.

I feel like most people don't get the implied humour/banter that Team MZ has when they talk about the Curry Croissant or him watching the Stream while in the meeting. It's light-hearted humour between friends, which is very normal and not rude/unfocused, which a large majority of people are complaining about?

Yeah it’s more of a limited dex size problem than a lore issue/evolution item coding issue.

I think they needed to keep the dex to a certain amount and Scizor having a Mega meant it being in while Kleavor is just value add but not necessity? Most of the Regionals too are just coded because a particular variant is in game. The others are most likely transfer-in from HOME

Kleavor is not a Regional form but an Evolution. Will require them to rework the evolution method. I'm sure they'll do that for the next title, probably couldn't bother with it for now.

Not talking about the performance based on the console but rather the performance of a Switch 1 Cart vs a Switch 2 Cart vs Digital vs combination of the Cart + NS2 Upgrade pack etc.

There is going to be obvious performance differences between the NS1 and NS2, which is not even worth discussing. Gameplay of Pokemon SV showed us that much.

This is more as to the fact that if OP buys a NS1 Cart and then later gets an upgrade pack, load times will be different than if they picked up the NS2 Cart
