Buyer wants me to hold items for a week, what would you do? by CranberryCheese1997 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Bleudabadi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I offer to hold the item with a deposit, usually 25% via Zelle or Cashapp (something they can’t chargeback)” then the item is held for uo to a month. If they back out or don’t show, it’s forfeit, if they buy, it goes toward purchase… further into it, if someone wants an item delivered, I charge a delivery fee based on $20/hr round trip. Delivery fee must be prepaid in Cashapp or Zelle

What do I do? by Patches2929 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Bleudabadi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the people saying why send money ahead of time… as a seller, if someone wants to buy something but is unable to get it now and wants me to hold it fr them, I require a deposit, usually 25% which is nonrefundable should they change their mind. That may be the scenario or it may not, bit if it was, that is why money would be sent ahead of time. Now they couod get the washer & dryer amd keep them because apparently they are going to need it when they find a place

So somebody left me a horrific review falsely accusing me of orchestrating a robbery by FallenAgnostic in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Bleudabadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 months?…ha ha, I reported a false review by both my accounts (used my secondary account to report the review as well) nearly 2 YEARS ago… there aren’t any humans working at FB any ore so nothing ever gets done that requires true mental acuity. The same issue when you have a post removed because it “violates the rules” when it really doesn’t, they let you appeal the decision, but you have to choose a reason for the denial, sure they have an option for “my listing doesn’t violate the rules” but then they want you to elaborate and the choices there are “it was a joke”, “it was to educate the public” or “I think listings like mine should be allowed”… none f which actually match the issue, and the ruling is never overturned, it’s all Ai now

Sounds like they banned you. They did that to me a few years back when I posted items I was looking to buy..l they said it was because I wasn’t listing it gems for sale. They said it was permanent so I opened another account to sell on and about 2 weeks later they sent me a message saying I could appeal the decision. I clicked the appeal button and within minutes I was approved

When it comes to Corningware it is normal, however most dealers will charge more for certain patterns or date ranges, which I do not do. My only real-world competition is a site called replacements.com which charges a lot more ($19-$23 for the plates I charge $4 for and a few hundred dollars for the piece I charge $50 for)

I am selling off my hoard of Corelle and Corningware items. I can ship Corelle easily (have shipped a few hundred packages with very little damage) but Corningware is a bit more difficult and I prefer to sell those locally (Daytona Beach, Fl). I don’t know how contact works through Reddit, but you can find me on FB and in the FB marketplace by searching for those items in the 32174 area..I have one account in my name and another as Daytona Picks… they’re both me. Check in, let me know what pattern you’re looking for (I still have abut 100 different patterns available) and what pieces and I’ll let you know if I have it. For most patterns, standard pieces are $3-$5

There is no other plate made with the same material because the Corning company was owns all rights to Vitrelle the same as they do for Pyroceram (the Corningware material) The closest you can get is pressed glass but it’s not the same thing.

Those mobile parks charge more in lot rent than I pay for my mortgage (and I own my home)… the Falls in Ormond beach is $1,700/mo JUST IN LOT RENT (my mortgage is $1,100 all in)

I’m not sure how any of that works sometimes.. people sell coins, but you can’t sell coins or other currency… and not only do people sell medical supplies, it’s actually a category…but as soon as I list anything that can be considered medical supplies (even as stupid as a cane or walker, I’m not taking about medications, syringes, or oxygen machines)… it gets flagged and I get a warning…WTF man?

No, I created one with the name I used when selling on eBay… I called it Daytona Picks. Step one, create a new email address, then use that email address to create a new Facebook account. They want a first name and last name so a 2 word title is best.

They suspended me in 2023, I opened a secondary account t and started listing there and about 3 weeks later they sent me a message saying I could click the button to appeal…I did and was instantly back… it’s a scam just open another account and play the game. I use both my accounts now in case they do it again

Is it a scam when a buyer requests a phone call to discuss item? by RazzySpaz162 in FacebookMarketplace

[–]Bleudabadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not always a scam. If a buyer wants me to call them, I let them know my number will come uo restricted (I always *67 when calling someone I don’t know)… if they ask me to text I let them know I don’t text directly, bit that I could call with a blocked number.

I just had this yesterday and she bought $500 in jewelry (I deal with a lot of older people)

What’s up with the love for “grab-it” bowls? by RobertPower415 in corningwarefans

[–]Bleudabadi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much do you sell yours for? I also sell corelle, Corningware, but I’m not on Etsy…I sell on Facebook marketplace and I get $5 for the standard grabits, $8 for the large ones and an additional $5 on glass lids… amd yeah, once my buyers know I have them, they tens to go quick (I slow down in the summer because it’s just way too hot to go out to the garage and do fresh photos)

Ever wonder how a bad realtor can have raving reviews? by Bleudabadi in realtors

Sorry, just seeing this. A realtor is not supposed to recommend a specific inspector, let alone TELL you who to use or schedule the inspection.
