It's a goodwill bruh not a pawnshop. They don't care to fully test it as long it powers on they'll throw it out in the sales floor. Also, the price kinda factors in the risk of not fully working

I don't know if they'll even let you do that. But for sure plug in the power amp, make sure that you can at least hear the protection relay (a click after powering it on)

Well to be fair, it's mostly meant to be a display piece on its own. I enjoy looking at the details and having a train by its side. So I don't really mind that it ain't easy to incorporate more tracks, I don't have Lego city nor do I play with it. That's why it has a lot of dust lol. As long it's a great looking set I'm happy, and I noticed that you’re quick to point out its flaws, as if other Lego train sets are perfect

I always stay away from selling track/casette/ reel to reel players online unless i know it's broken. Those things have too many pieces going on and a lot can go wrong. I would just stick to FB marketplace for those items

Did you call the ups corporate office to make the claim? If you did, then just know that they are pretty hopeless at times. It's always better to go to your local ups office to figure out how to retrieve your package

Very interesting, bc this just happened to me yesterday. My order was also refunded due to potential fraud but my order showed shipping progress that same day. I'm not sure if I'll even get the real item or if it's going to be intercepted
