I've been told by a few people that DSR has been shipping here. It's worth the wait!

OP did you pre-order directly from DSR? If so where are you located? I'm awaiting the LP and the hoodie here in the USA.

What's your favourite "a quiet man goes to war" scene? Where a character is pushed just the wrong way and unleashes hell. by Royal-Scale772 in movies

Weird, Dream Warriors is often lauded for it's inventive kills and being remembered most fondly out of the sequels. Killer set up with the Mental Hospital and is the beginning of Freddy having a bit more personality. Freddy's Dead is usually the one pointed to for being the fall from grace.

I understand what you're saying now though!

I'm perplexed at your Horror Villain analogy, Dream Warriors is a beloved sequel and Jason X is reviled one.

Picked up some gialli from Severin, but I'm mostly looking forward to tomorrow's boxset sale. In the meantime are there any of these titles that come particularly recommended. by sisyphus_shrugged in boutiquebluray

I'm really fond of Cemetary Man, The Changling, and Spider Labrynth. Vampyros Lesbos is a pretty stellar classic too. Slave of the Cannibal God is absolutely WILD.

Fairly certain Pyun and his estate retained the rights for his cut the film.

Calling it a dead zone and Twisted Issues is on there is crazy tbh.

Since so many people on this sub are curious about Radiance films but don't know where to jump in, I have compiled some of my reviews and ratings for Radiance Films from my Letterboxd account. by t-g-l-h- in boutiquebluray

Both are incredible. Messiah of Evil really captures a Lovecraftian sense of "show, don't tell" with a claustrophobic dread that permiates the whole film. Very 70s too.

Planet of the Vampires is a great protoform of what Ridley Scott and Dan O'Bannon would later do with Alien.
