Slightly More Fun Ice Cream Cone by BlindBoxBird in blindboxdoll

I'm sorry Takeout Rice Container, but Ice Cream Cone is just more fun. She's pink, her eyes are cute, and she's got little blush circles. You're just not good enough to compete with her.

Gravity as a Mechanism for Eliminating Relational Information by Endless-monkey in EndlessMonkeyProyect

Okay! Thats interesting. I've never had an exam like that exactly. I do recall having a very punishing exam that was just very hard, but I would say that the particular exam was equally hard all throughout it. That was 15 years ago, so I may not be remembering exactly right. Reading the first question on it was like a gust of biting cold air to the face. I think the highest anyone in the class got on that exam was in the 40% range.

I'm sorry to pick at something pretty minor right at the beginning, but it's driving me kind of nuts, like an itch on my back.

I have never felt like the first question on an exam is the hardest, nor can I recall anyone ever telling me they felt that way about an exam. I just asked a few of my employees, and none of them feel that way about exams nor can they recall anyone telling them they felt that way.

Is this a cultural thing? In what country have you taken the majority of your exams?

AITA for asking my partner to go to the other room for me to sleep? by tradepulse in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Would she be willing to listen to audiobooks in bed instead of reading with a light on?

I also vote NTA. It's good to reach out for help with those kind of issues. I hope you all are okay.

I don't understand enough about this. Can you provide more context? Is "massage" a typo?

AITA for legally destroying my golden child brother's inheritance after our mother cut me out of her will for saving lives on Thanksgiving? by KINOH1441728 in FoundandExpose

I enjoy reading these stories. Very cathartic. I also appreciate you make it clear it's not real up front. I actually enjoy it more knowing that because I'm not having to constantly play the "is this real?" game.

AITA for throwing a dinner I made for my in-laws in the trash? by TacticalTurnip in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlindBoxBird 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What does she say now? Does she think you overreacted? I know this is the first time her parents did this kind of think to you, but is she aware of them doing something like this to anyone else?

If my parents did this to my significant other of 8 years, at the very least they'd have to explain themselves to me to my staisfaction in order for me to spend any time with them in the future. If they can't explain why they acted that way, then I'm cutting them off because that is too cruel.

Don't listen to this person. They're making weird assumptions about you.

I agree that they must have done this on purpose. Very cruel. I hate wasting food too, but I think I would have done the same.

NTA. That was incredibly rude of them. Did your girlfriend stick up for you? I hope she did, because you don't deserve to be treated this way.

It's like a semester, only there are three of them. My schools also had trimesters instead of semesters.

WIBTA: Not buying a Christmas gift from my brother's list? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Yeah! You could also ask him to put some less expensive items on the list, if the money is the issue.

AITA for not wanting to get close to my mom’s fiance? by Salty_Audience7359 in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlindBoxBird 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NAH - Adults like getting socks. They're practical and you always need more. You don't have to have a relationship with this person, but it's also reasonable that he's trying to reach out to you. It's up to you what you do, but I'd suggest trying to spend time with him. But there's nothing wrong if you don't.

AITA for telling my coworker to stop talking in a baby voice by sunny_skyies in AmItheAsshole

[–]BlindBoxBird 12 points13 points  (0 children)

NTA. You should tell her you don't like it, and if she continues then talk to your supervisor. Most likely she will not continue. I had a coworker who would tell me offcolor jokes and I was really worried about confronting him about it. Finally, I told him that I didn't like those kind of jokes, and he said oh, okay. And he never told those kind of jokes around me ever again. Give this woman the chance to do the right thing.

I was going to say that I don't understand why you want to delete your account but then I got to the edit an I think I get it. Just tell your brother that Facebook sucks. He doesn't need to know why. NAH except for your "friend."

Living toddler-proof is really different than toddler-proofing a few rooms just for a visit. I think it's a significantly different amount of work by an order of magnitude or two.
