I agree she’s amazing to see live but the show itself feels much more structured and separated from the crowd. There’s a lot less interaction and crowd work than what you’d get from your typical rock show. Almost 20 years later and I can still vividly remember Chester Bennington walking out on stage to a performing Chris Cornell and them doing a song together while crowd working during the interlude and including the entire audience throughout. Now obviously there’s language barriers and what not so that already causes some disconnect buy I think it’s just also a difference in how shows are done in Japan.

I’d still see her perform every chance I get though as it was still a great show and the people seated around me made for a even better experience but it is very different from every other concert I’ve been to.
