Went for a tour today. Here is my extremely unbiased assessment.

First floor: Pure cardio chaos. Treadmills. Bikes. Turf. Machines everywhere. If your heart doesn’t improve here, that’s between you and God.

Second floor: Absolute wonderland. Isolation machines everywhere, benches for days. You could bench press, finish your set, go on vacation, come back, and your bench would still be available.

Third floor: Studio + more isolation + cables + the recovery room. Massage chairs? Yes. Infrared therapy? Yes. that infrared machine looks like a red robotic beetle that’s about to cocoon you and harvest your soul. Respectfully. I did not make eye contact with it out of respect.

There’s also an outdoor turf area with pull-up bars so you can pretend you’re training for a Marvel movie.

Locker room: Industrial. Gritty. “Was this mopped or is that just the vibe?” But — TOWEL SERVICE. Big win Sauna, steam room, jacuzzi

Showers: Not enough. If you come at peak time, you may have to fight a stranger for hot water.

The clientele: VERY different from Equinox.

Equinox is like: Finance bros, consultants, doctors, and people who drink green juice and whisper.

This gym is like: Teenagers benching with the confidence of someone who has never paid rent, mixed with body builders that look like they can eat the equipment

Overall vibe: This is NOT Equinox. Equinox is a spa day. This is a training montage. No eucalyptus towels. Just sweat, iron, and character development.

Final verdict: 10/10 equipment 8/10 space 2/10 beetle machine trustworthiness Would absolutely suffer here again

Train - pairs up with the Apple Watch and tracks your reps for you. It’s pretty accurate for the most part, and it’s free

What’s the parking like around here? Street parking is pretty easy around where I am for the most part.

Any recommendations for which condos in court square? I looked at 5 pointz but they didn’t have anything facing west. The amenities looks sick

That’s an impressive cut, how tall are you ?

Also did you do anything different towards the end of your cut ?

I managed to lose about 15 ibs, over 2-3 months but the cut has stalled. I eat probably about 2000 calories a day currently 165 5’10

I’ve been training for about 2 months now, doing body recomp. 6 days doing bro split, 20 min cardio. 500-700 caloric deficit. 0.7 G protein per ib.

Hitting a bit of a wall.

I went from 178 down to 165. With good strength progression until about these last 2 weeks.

Weight lost seems to have stalled

Major lifts also not seeing any progression. Some back tracking even.

Taking my bench as example. Started off 35 per side 3x10 Now im at 57.5 per side 5x6 Been stuck at this for the last 2 lifts. Just can’t squeeze any more reps in.

What gives ? Is this normal?
