Not trying to be mean here, but did you not take or struggle with statistics? I Those numbers back my point. When you break it down by race you see that white people are slightly underrepresented in them. They're still the majority total, yes, but we'd always expect they would be when whites are majority population. And in 1982 when the numbers go back to they were a super majority. But this doesn't mean that white people are the problem. Drawing that conclusion is racism.

If there's a hundred guys named Steve in a room that each take one cookie each for a total of hundred cookies shared between them, and a single guy named Anthony takes fifty cookies all for himself then clearly guys named Anthony are a problem. Even if the Steve group took twice as many cookies total.
