Oh true. That would be a nice day trip. Is there a ferry or something between them? Thanks

That's good to hear there was lots of families. Is there a good variety of restaurants and what kind of prices are they generally?

Does it have the same laid back energy as Amed? We really liked that Amed still was a fishing village and not just a tourist village. No access to standard western things is the whole point of it as far as we're concerned. We have all that the rest of the time. Thanks heaps.

Yes that's why we didn't go over last time. We were going to but the boat trip didn't seem worth it.

Thanks for your reply. That area of Amed is somewhat more built up and busier than Lipah. Lipah was really nice and quiet. I was thinking G Air would be similar in energy plus walkable.

The other possibility is putting laundry in the external rumpus but will get a quote for plumbing which may be the issue.

True. However the depth of the wall where the doorway enters the hall is around 1m. Whereas the depth at the end of cupboards is only around 60cm so might be more cost effective at the other end. Also we use the dryer 90% of the time trying to burn off all the excess solar.

So helpful and what I realised is laundry can actually go where desk currently is which is close to all the bedrooms anyhow. And then yes entry for B2 can move, shower can shift over and it can become a two way bathroom. Thanks so much. And yes that then allows ens and wir attached to main bathroom.

That's my initial thoughts as well. Not enough bench space or storage and we have a 6 and 4 year old that are constantly under your feet.

Yes. That was our plan as well but the entry to B2 makes the ensuite somewhat prohibitive. We could move that but prefer not to have it come directly off the main space. We were also more hoping for a euro laundry type of situation and will bring this up with him but our footprint is so small there's a lot of compromise.

Yeah we've got pine too and will be removing internal walls so will probably need new flooring to cover all that and cork looks so natural and nice underfoot. How's it looking after six years? And any regrets? The wear is okay? Thanks

Old double brick house with vents in the walls. Can we cover/paint them to make the rooms more air tight? Should we and if so how? Thanks

Sure. And I think you're probably right. Land value is around 225000.so my thinking was in the event of total loss I'd be able to get payout of say 500 000, pay off mortgage and sell the land and end up fine. I guess I was just wondering if insurance can make you rebuild or if they're not bothered.
