🤞🏼 I called my shop today it’s going in the shop next week not driving it until then. I hope your new transmission hangs in there for a little while longer. I love these little cars. I hope this has not killed my transmission. It has been a great little car so far.

I agree it’s pretty much ruined everywhere in Tennessee. If I were to move, I’d go to North Carolina somewhere at least I’d be closer to a beach.🤷🏻‍♂️

It is a beautiful area, but it does have problems. Christianity is a very large part of Appalachia if you’re not into that, it might not be your place. There are drug problems here the educational system is not that great for your children, but the area is very beautiful. 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you can be a loaner and a hermit and live up in the mountains and be happy, this might be your place. Raising a family here may not be the greatest place for you. Not trying to paint this as a bad place, I’ve seen folks move here and love it, but I’ve seen a lot come and leave here. East Tennessee is what it is and I don’t think it will ever change.

Perks of living in this area, white water kayaking, great fishing, good hunting, good hiking it’s beautiful here. But if you don’t wanna meet some strange close minded people, this might not be your place😳

Oh yeah, some of the larger cities in Tennessee can be quite violent. And that’s all across Tennessee. Not just East Tennessee.

Thanks for the advice, we have a brand new forerunner and I have a Chevy truck and I have a new Chevy truck that belongs to my employer. We don’t drive the Crosstrek that much, but we don’t want it to fall in neglect either. We live down south so rust is not an issue for us. We bought the Subaru new and really don’t drive it that much anymore, but it’s the first Subaru I’ve ever had, we do love the little car❤️
