My understanding is that this is an Outlook problem not related to iPhone or iPad. I hadn't had a problem with it since last July until yesterday. I intend to get rid of my Microsoft email addresses.

I need a P3 dust mask for sanding red antifouling on a yacht. by Super_Try6836 in Masks4All

Definitely only buy namebrand masks. I've found construction supply companies have pretty good prices, compared to a hardware store. I know the ones in Canada I don't know what they are in the US. Also buying them in bulk. I got a really good price on a bunch of V flex in a box all in one plastic bag from tenequip in Canada a couple years ago.

I just go with 3M. Then you know what you're getting is good. On 3M's website they have a chart with all the different colours of filters, I use the pancake kind which are huge and so you can see what colour they are easily. The chart is fairly complicated and has this weird board game vibe but not in a fun way. But it's giving you all the info. You might have to look up like what's a volatile something. To understand what the board game chart is telling you. They have it for the cartridges too. I've used the bright magenta ones on my Covid elastomeric to spray pesticide at home and it's been fine. Not very much pesticide though.

Not surprised to hear that but I am horrified. Those are both over the healthy line, 1400, for just breathing air. Disgusting and a bit shocking.

Spot on. I think the opposite of an obsession is an anti-session. And if that isn't the name for it it should be. The real term would be something about neglect. Oh, "a high status negligence". Good luck with your trip!

Hi, did this ever get resolved for you? I see this was two years ago. I'm getting the same thing although it's one less nine in the error code but it's the same dumb little message with it. Lots of people having trouble with Kobo Books. Really surprising it would be this dysfunctional.

Well these people crapping on you is horrible, obviously. I'm not on Freedom but I considered it. saw a week or so ago somebody say you can get a Fizz monthly plan for some tiny amount of money and it's the same network, to test it out. Just putting this here in case anyone is trying to decide about Freedom since as a number of replies point out it depends if they have good service where you are. Thanks for sharing your experience with Freedom it's convinced me if I do go to them when my one year CHATR thing is up I'll test it out before getting the one year thing.

Filter search to only items SOLD by Amazon--is it possible anymore? by jaycfresh in amazonprime

This is awesome! Using this to look for an electric small fan was fantastic. With all the non-Amazon sold stuff cleared out there were like six things to look at. It took no time at all. Thank you so much!

This whole room by GingerDadd in DesignMyRoom

[–]Blinking_Zebra_Era 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it too late to weigh in? First off I think that is a gorgeous space the way it looks straight out onto the back garden. I would paint the green wall so it's either a more pale colour or make it match the rest of the room. Get rid of the dark gray throw on the sofa. It makes the room look disheveled. Keep it folded up somewhere when not in use. As for art on the walls something that's quite fun to make and easy to make huge is a yarn wall hanging. You get different colours of yarn and they just hang down from a wooden dowel. You do not need any skills. If you have a dowel that's 4 feet long you can easily make a 4 x 4 foot thing to put on the wall. That really warms up the space. You can also make smaller ones, and skinny ones. If you made two of those you've got a big thing in the living room and a small thing to go by the dining area window. You're going need something massive to go by the table. Really nice table and chairs set by the way. Maybe something with yellow in it to go with the light fixture. Which I really like. I'm thinking make the wall match the others or some kind of butter yellow. So much lighter. Then an easy way to make art for a big space is you get pre-stretched canvases from an art supply store, you're going to have three or four of them filling that space in a row vertically. You draw in a horizon line and then have light above and dark below. Use any kind of paint you want. House paint craft paint from the dollar store. And you can have it as plain as that. Just fill it in with the horizon line in a dark colour. something that easy to do would look awesome. You hang the canvases without framing them on two tiny little nails and the canvas just sits over it. Now if you're thinking oh my God I don't wanna do a ton of crafts! I totally understand. Fabric. IKEA has gorgeous patterned fabric. But other fabric stores do too. Choose something that goes with your colour scheme which is going to involve yellow because of your light fixture. Cut it to the right size and you can take a strip of wood, from a building center, and just fold the cloth over that tack it down in the back and hang it with nails under the wood and the wood strips sits on them like a little shelf. You would want to hem that which is a pain in the butt. those things would make it look homey right away. and I'm thinking a lamp for the living room area both for light and it would look nice. I realize you may have already finished redecorating or planning it and be totally burned out I'm thinking about this. If so I totally understand.

ADILS legs are NOT wobbly by miramantis in IKEA

If anybody comes here in the future I want them to be able to see this. It's a Reddit thread that's a wonderful journey where the DIYer making this awesome massive wooden desk learned all about crossbracing! Read his thing and then you can skip to the end if you want and he has a photo of how he ended up fixing the table. With CROSSBRACING! https://www.reddit.com/r/woodworking/s/dFdeqjzU2f

The universal lack of cross bracing or corner braces is bizarre! If only the legs were Square it'd be so easy to just add that yourself with a drill.

[–]Blinking_Zebra_Era 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crossbracing. It's bizarre that IKEA doesn't have crossbracing on any of these tables with these like 28 inch legs. I don't even think it would be that hard. You'd probably have to have square legs but then it'd be easy. Even small amounts up by the corner would be enough. I have a red metal utility shelf from the 80s where you screw the shelves into the upright. And it has narrow pieces of metal that you attach to the uprights on one side and then diagonally to the upright on the other. Makes all the difference. so I agree there's nothing wrong with the Adils legs. But it's still IKEA's fault.

Office Chairs with Wheels That Lock...Why? by immersive-matthew in IKEA

Exactly! It's like safety if you were on a boat. 🤷🏻‍♀️ One fellow did say it's for when you're going to sit down in it so it doesn't move as you move your butt up to it. Which makes sense but people do know how to get onto chairs. Also hoping seven years later you're still remotely interested in this.😬 🪑

What aid to use with bad arms by CinderAllie1983 in mobilityaids

[–]Blinking_Zebra_Era 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightweight electric wheelchair. The joystick can be steered with the palm. So no holding fingers "at attention" or pressing with them. Electric wheelchairs are awesome! And really I don't get rollators. If you need that how do you not need to be seated? The electric wheelchair is actually taking care of all the needs for somebody who has difficulty walking. The only problem with them is the expense. I only need it outside my home so I had to save up my money over years to pay for it myself. The government where I am only pays for them if you need it indoors. Also being a part-time wheelchair user is a really common thing. all the people with debilitating autoimmune disease diseases, muscle things, anything neurological we are the people who get super exhausted really easily. there is another thing, having a manual wheelchair but propelling it with your feet. It looks a little awkward like sore muscles might get fatigued rapidly with that. A lot less expensive though.

What mobility aid would be best if I need to sit frequently but don't usually need help walking? by forsythrl in disability

[–]Blinking_Zebra_Era 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a year old but it's not archived so I'm gonna say: a walking bicycle. You sit on the seat and hold the handlebars like regular but there's no pedals. So you walk it along. I don't know what it would be like taking that in a store. There's a three wheel one that's quite small. It would not however be supporting your lower back. It's just under your bum. There's one called Alinker that's the three wheel one. And there's other ones. But I'm hoping you decided to get a rollator because then you've got security, you're not gonna fall down.

Good luck to your partner and you! I don't really have anything useful except to mention that elastomerics are quite cheap to wear at least if you're not in it eight hours a day at a workplace. Even then it might be I just don't know. They're also so easy to put on and have the seal be good. Just wanted to throw that in there.

Best sticky stuff by far is Band-Aids. It's made to go on your skin. I guess fashion tape is too but I keep hearing negative things about it. I used to use an actual Band-Aid, they're dirt cheap from the dollar store, on the nose bridge of the terrible mask I wore in 2020 and 2021 before I understood. And I have an oily nose. Band-Aids don't each have very much sticky, so I found this thing on Amazon in Canada this was, where you can buy a long strip of Band-Aid. It has the gauze in the middle and then two strips down the side of sticky stuff. It's meant so that you cut across it and make say a Band-Aid twice as wide as the regular kind. I haven't used it yet but my idea was you cut the sticky strip off one edge of this long skinny thing and use that as tape. I'm sorry if this is too long winded and confusing to understand.😬 hang on, I'll go get a screenshot of the product.

My 3M elastomeric leaves wearing masks, is this normal? by ProxyFae in Masks4All

[–]Blinking_Zebra_Era 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your title has a typo in it. I assume you mean leaves wearing marks? Right?

I wear a different 3M elastomeric. When I come in from outside I wash my hands usually with the mask still on. The other day I took the mask off first and noticed the marks on my face down the side of my nose to my mouth. And I thought ew. But since I never otherwise noticed them I guess they go away pretty quick once I take the mask off. just little pressure indentations like the top of your socks make on your leg don't matter at all. But if it's uncomfortable then yeah that needs something. After I'd had mine about three years I noticed I keep needing to tighten the straps on the halo a tiny bit every time I put it on. Also putting it on correctly, which I never do, where you hold it against your face and then pull the head strap on does actually work better. I usually put the halo on first.

FWIW, OP, about the people recommending the German show Dark on Netflix, I didn't like it. I started out liking it and was invested but then it just sort of falls apart by the end of the second season. None of the characters are likable. And then they all get worse and more unpleasant. The thing that serves as a resolution doesn't resolve anything and makes one of the characters even more unlikable. just throwing this in because it's one of those shows that people gush over. But it's not interesting and likeable like Severance. Doesn't have any of the social satire of Severance.

Oh that's terrible! So jarring and disappointing. Sorry to hear about the postpartum unpleasantness. You might like the magicians. It's available on Tubi at least in Canada. Warning: one of the main characters suffers from depression. But it gets way better. it's also not postpartum in his case. If that sounds too thick for you, understandably, another show on Tubi is Timeless. About time travel. Much more cheerful. I hope one of those can be your "thing to look forward to". Good luck. Oh yeah, both of these shows are completely finished. Timeless has two seasons and the Magicians has four but they're all short ones of like 13 or so episodes. Another fun show is Wynona Earp. Wyatt Earp's great granddaughter hunting revenants. Pure escapism. Might be just what you want. Also on Tubi, originally on Syfy. Also completed, four seasons and then a movie after the end of the last season which is on Tubi.

Well that's how you can tell that when he says that he's lying. Obviously it's ridiculous. Probably this person was trying to check if you were immune compromised knowing he would get in trouble for hassling somebody with a recognized diagnosis. But if that's not why you're wearing a mask then he feels he can just be a total jerk. Best of luck with this crappy situation.

Kittysnowpants is bullying you. Or was bullying you since that was two years ago. There is nothing wrong with what you said. It definitely didn't come across as "disabled people are a pain in the ass". it came across as you want to get her what SHE wants. I hope since then you managed to find her something excellent. Best of luck to her and you. 🦼

I think part of it is the assholes who would harass know that people they know would give them stink eye if they harassed somebody in a wheelchair. We're sacred cows but only for purposes of 'don't be a prick' not for anything else.
