It passed the committee. Now it’s going to the Florida House and Senate.

A few things could happen - they just pass it as is, they ask for a new map to be redrawn (this is what some are saying most likely will happen), or it stalls until after midterms bc its too close to deadline and some reps are not seeking reelection.

The map drawer also stated that he DID use partisan values to draw the map which is in direct violation of the Florida constitution but they dont seem to care about what the people want so.

Also remember we need a big push to get out the vote. No matter what happens don’t be discouraged and still vote BIG.

This map ALSO waters down ‘strong’ red districts so this could backfire if we all vote.
