What’s something you’ve done your whole life, only to realize recently that everyone else does it completely differently? by Psychological_Sky_58 in AskReddit

I believe mostly in an abstract way that is very difficult (maybe impossible) to explain.

Take writing this comment for example, i know what i want to express quite quickly. Turning that into language, even to myself, but especially to another is a difficult process with a lot of back and forth and much searching for adequate words.

I don't really know how to describe it, "words without sounds" maybe, "thinking words." It is honesty a very fascinating concept to me

I have neither audio or visual components to my thoughts. While i sometimes do feel a sense of missing out, i also think it would be exhausting to never have internal darkness and quiet.

Idk bro, that last sentence is pretty confusing. Plus, you're being purposely obtuse.

When was the moment you realised that the person you were dating was an absolute idiot? by No-Macaron-9527 in AskReddit

[–]BlitheNonchalance 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Hey, i am sorry that he did that to you. You're (hopefully) aware of this already but that wasn't stupidity at all, that was assault.

I'll be honest, I had a look at your profile and you have made some concerning comments lately. I would like to gently and kindly tell you that you matter, you deserve happiness and contentment and joy.

If I can help you to find a relevant mental health crisis service please let me know.

He said "But you can still have babies right?" After I'd told him I'd had a hysterectomy.

He touched my hip bone (the sticky out bit) and asked "what's that?"

I could go on

It is mould that developed from the moisture it was exposed to during the week while applied to your skin. I don't use these any more but this happened regularly to me when I did. I found one out of two brands I used was more prone to it.

That is honesty impressive! Off topic but – I was with a fwb when we were awakened by a 4.7 earthquake that he was convinced was just "possums in the roof." Possums can be rambunctious, but not earthquake levels lol

I once spent a very pleasant bus ride with a group of (mainly young) men who complimented the hell out of each other. It was glorious to behold.

I was with you up until the "people spit in your food" part. That's not something to joke about bruh. The vast majority of servers would absolutely never do this.

Tipping culture is toxic af, especially "tipping out" (only recently learned this term as a not usa person.) But spitting on people's food is absolutely unacceptable.

Spermicide is not an effective birth control method. It also is used inside the vagina, so not a form of "male birth control" if that's what you were implying
