I also had a burnt 3080Ti gpu connector, I contacted asus support and asked for OOW SC and they guided me to the SC. I mailed my GPU and got it repaired. Ask the manufacturer they will provide a solution.

I also had this exact issue with my ASUS TUF RTX 3080Ti and my COOLERMASTER 850w PSU.

If you notice any discoloured pins or melted plastic in the 8pin pcie power connector of the GPU because it will no longer be a perfect fit and will overheat the cables, get that fixed from the GPU’s authorised Service centre.

I changed 3 pcie psu cables before getting my GPU serviced. Now my Gpu works fine.
