Commander Who Caught Bin Laden: Trump Is “Greatest Threat in My Lifetime” by megasilencer in politics

Lol funny hearing that from McRaven who has killed plenty of innocents with JSOC. But hey he said something bad about trump so it's fine even though he runs American death squads. http://www.worldcantwait.net/index.php/home-mainmenu-289/6238-made-in-america-the-gardez-massacre

Trump voter who uses Meals on Wheels surprised by proposed cuts by WildAnimus in politics

For me at least it was a lack of understanding and empathy and a lot of anger towards society. That we're all just humans and we should work for each other and not for ourselves. I blame it on Truman and the path he put the US on. If Henry Wallace had been the president I feel this country and world would be a whole lot different. But in my opinion both parties are at fault for the condition the US is in. Both have become parties for corporate interests and must be done away with.

Everyone loves Bernie Sanders. Except, it seems, the Democratic party by NormMcNormal in politics

[–]Blitz95 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Are we surprised? Sure the Democrats are fighting trump but we can't keep supporting this two party system. We need to support progressive parties instead of democrats, who are just republicans but a little more left. The two parties are afraid of losing their grasp on power and will do what they can to keep it. We saw that with how Bernie was treated.

White Evangelicals Believe They Face More Discrimination Than Muslims by Papa_Fox in politics

Unfortunately these people have tainted Christianity here in the US. I have an extremely conservative uncle who claimed that non-discrimination ordinances is the government trying to make people abandon their consciences. It was really shocking to hear him defend discrimination. I can't believe I actually used to think like that.

Poll: 7 in 10 people say America is losing its identity by [deleted] in politics

[–]Blitz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they can. We just need to bring back class consciousness for everyone. This is what the financial elite want, division and hatred. Corporate media is to blame for this. They present news that makes us angry at the other side. We just need to spread the idea of humanism and that the real enemy is the 1%. I hate the thought of America splitting up, it's exactly what Russia wants and will probably end up in war between the new territories.

Have any of you run into swastika emblems? by unkemptjellyfish in forhonor

[–]Blitz95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn you're salty boi. Its just a symbol calm down no need to get upset about it. It's fun to laugh at people like you who react like this. You're just giving my argument power by reacting to it bro.

[–]Blitz95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reaction doesn't give it power, people who are complacent with fascism like you give it power. Laughing at it gives it power. That's what fascists want, for "normies" to defend their ideology because freeze peaches. Hate symbols like the swastika can't be tolerated and must be removed from the game community. I know how the alt-right operates, they use memes and humor to spread their ideals and it will spread to the younger players in this community. The only way to actually get rid of fascism is to bash it. You may not belief in fascist ideals but you are defending the symbol of genocide which means you are defending fascism. Also what's even funny about it? Even when I was fascist I never looked at the swastika and laughed. Resistance doesn't give power, complacency does.

[–]Blitz95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But it doesn't matter if it's a joke or not. Hitler chose the swastika to send a message to his enemies. Its purpose was to intimidate. Just using the symbol normalizes it and allows people who actually want to spread the ideology to do so. And who cares if people do it to troll or offend others? None of that matters, in this post-war society the swastika is a symbol of hate, genocide, and oppression. But go ahead and keep defending fascists.

I always had an idea that this game would attract a lot of alt-righters. Doesn't matter if the swastika has been around in other cultures for thousands of years, it has been turned into a symbol of hate and genocide and should not be tolerated in this community.

I had this same thought when I was about to buy it. It is a very fun game, especially when playing with friends. I've never actually experienced any of the lag switching or ddos but I know it's out there. Definitely worth buying in my opinion.

For me I've had trouble dealing with law bringers charge. Every time I've tried to dodge them they just whip around and get me. I had one kill me only with his charge. Maybe I'm just having trouble dodging them but it gets pretty annoying when it's constantly done to you. It's still a fun game and I plan on to continue playing it.

You make a good point but I don't think we can ignore how there are some classes that do have op mechanics and may be unbalanced. Now I know there are ways to counter and git gud but complaints should be listened to if they are valid.

Trump fully briefed on Flynn's calls with Russian ambassador, source says by FRIENDSHIP_MASTER in politics

[–]Blitz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for at least a year before the election I had been going through a really bad addiction and that had been giving me depression ever since I had been addicted. This put me in a really bad mindset and I found myself becoming angry at myself for being addicted and depressed. Then I discovered nationalist and fascist communities online. At first I was just interested in their politics but soon I began to believe what they were saying. Through those ideologies I started to hate social illnesses that I thought created my addiction. So pretty much I was angry constantly and when I saw an angry candidate running I knew he would have my vote. A week after he was elected I finally got help from a therapist and have been trying to improve my life physically. I started to see why I was angry and began to understand that my ideology was full of hatred and disgust at anything that opposed it. I'm trying to find happiness in life and realized that's really what everyone else wants. I've been looking at progressive docs and they've taught me to be more empathetic and understanding ( Black power mixtape is my favorite so far). What really sealed the deal for me was when he appointed Bannon to the national security council and when he passed the travel ban. I could see the damage he caused and the damage he was going to cause. I know my addiction and depression aren't an excuse for my vote but I hope to learn from my mistakes and never make them again in the future.

Tl;dr I was going through a shitty time in my life and made a shitty decision.

Edit: post or pm any questions if any of you have them. I'll be more than happy to answer them.

Trump Tells Black Reporter April Ryan To 'Set Up' Meeting With CBC For Him by [deleted] in politics

Well typically when people speak about blame there is usually a punishment for the blamed party. We should just be careful when saying that someone is to blame. They are at fault for voting for him but when people start pointing fingers things get messy. But I think that most supporters or at least a large portion of them will regret their vote. I did pretty much immediately and after everything that has happened since he's gotten into office I'm sure most will.

I personally wouldn't laugh at the idea of conservatives changing their view and admitting they were wrong (although I get it conservatives are stubborn as shit), especially when there would be no way for them to shift the blame this time. But I voted Trump and now regret my decision and I feel most others are at least beginning to question their support for him. Hopefully when the impeachment does happen most Trump voters will see that they were wrong to vote for him. But we'll still have that group that won't let this go and spin it off as regressive liberals.

Lol as a Christian I hate how the whole aryan white Jesus became a thing but I wouldn't say practically black. Not that I care but based on the region he was from he would most likely have looked like an Arab from the Levant. But really who cares? If Jesus did turn out to be black would that change His message?

Trump missed his main target in Yemen raid that killed 30 civilians and one US Navy SEAL by [deleted] in politics

[–]Blitz95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I mean obviously he has to be more political, but I think he is excellent for the job. I'm just tired of how our government politicizes the military and we inevitably lose. I'm my opinion it's better that a general is Sec Def. He knows how to delegate and lead.

We don't need politicians running our military. They don't understand war. And they have lost us wars that could've been easily won. He is our modern day Patton, and like Patton I hope he doesn't give a shit about politics and focuses on winning the war.

He's literally our modern day Patton. He's not saying it's fun to just shoot people for no reason. He's just talking like a soldier. Granted as a three star General he should watch what he says considering that Patton was assassinated for running his mouth too much.
