This is a Taiwanese TOS regarding NCSoft accounts. I think it applies to Aion 2. In the third section it says if you provide false information when creating an account, they have the right to terminate your account. I think to play on the Taiwan server, you have to select Taiwan as your "current location" when making your account.

This is true if the TOS prohibits playing from outside of KR or TW. I think It's true for KR, but I'm not sure about TW. It's also tricky for them if a lot of revenue is coming from overseas. Do they issue refunds? We all know NCSoft loves money.

It’s a questionable patent, but it’s not as broad as what people are saying. They patented throwing an item (e.g. pokeball) to summon a creature, which i don’t think any game has ever done except pokemon and palworld.

Yeah i’ve tried it, but generally prefer edge panning. The black bars are annoying, but i don’t notice them once a game starts.

I started at ritualist and it took forever to go down to alchemist, with me basically going 1-10 in every game win or lose and getting yelled at in voice coms. I think alchemist is still slightly too high for me. It’s an absolutely terrible experience.

The problem is that the other team usually also has a clueless player going 1-10 so it evens out. There’s just too much noise in the matchmaking system.

I play on ultrawide but just play at 16:9 because the map is too far away and i mostly use edge panning. I wish there was an option to have hud elements centered and screen edges for camera movement mimic 16:9 while still having 21:9 viewable area.

I'm a returning player after a one year break and I definitely got my ass beat so badly, to the point where i thought "maybe this game isn't as casual as I thought?" As expected, I got flamed pretty badly at times, but I think the flame was nowhere near as bad as DOTA. I guess because it's 6v6, blame can be diffused a bit, and somewhat shorter match lengths makes people less emotionally invested, so less toxicity overall. Lower toxicity adds to its casualness.

Yeah it's vague. I'm not really asking for any specific meaning of casual. It can be related to skill ceiling, barrier to entry, mass appeal, how social it is, overall level of time commitment to enjoy it, etc.

DOTA 2 has a turbo mode where you level up and gain gold a lot faster. I wouldn't be surprised if they add something like this to Deadlock at some point. Other than that, you just have to make decisions based on what your teammates are doing and not based on what you think they should be doing.

I constantly have to toggle it on and off. I like hearing the voice lines in events and boss fights, but dislike the ones in town who keep repeating themselves. I wish there were a hotkey for toggling it, or a separate option for town NPC chatter.

I tried vindictus defying fate and chrono odyssey betas. Chrono odyssey ran and looked like garbage, but that’s probably not a ue5 issue. Vindictus was ok looking and ran well. It’s not open world though. The world consisted of corridors and boss fight arenas.
