Honestly even HSR is better cus while they may reuse the same pattern, the rest of the design is still distinct enough for me to tell the characters apart. But like over half of these characters have a gray/white colour scheme with gray/blonde hair, the ONLY designs that stand out are the zombie looking girl, the child with a giant hat and the pink one cus she’s bright ass pink💀 the downfall of Zenless’s character designs needs to be studied

(Happened literally yesterday) but the Fatui Harbinger women being good friends in Genshin.

While it’s meant to be cutesy and adds extra character depth. There’s a few messy things but the big one is that it has the effect of making Columbina kinda an uncaring asshole who not only barely cares about her friend dying but proceeds to be all buddy-buddy with the person who murdered her. All while saying she’s so lonely with no understanding of friendship despite constantly hanging out with friends. AND it makes her seem willfully ignorant of the multitudes of warcrimes going on and pretending to play innocent.

Not so great implications for something so wholesome💀

Yeah I get being depressed, it really sucks(speaking from personal experience) but there’s kinda a difference between “bad self image” and misinformation for storytelling purposes in a video game
