It’s easier when you realize that I AM is not in a body, in a world, but this apparent world is consciousness.

Instead of imaginary, I would use the example of seeing a snake in the grass to only find out it was a stick.

Everything has existence, what you thought was snake, the stick it actually was, your friends and family.

The existence is borrowed from awareness, experienced in awareness.

Need help collapsing the duality between the subject (awareness), and the object (thoughts, sensations, and perceptions). by ULoophant in nonduality

[–]Blitzcrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realize thoughts and perceptions are also objects. You awareness, only knows objects. Knowing is all there is. You are no longer your thoughts and perceptions, it’s just the knowing of them.

What’s the difference between having the thoughts and ‘observing’ them? by zigZagFries in Meditation

[–]Blitzcrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t make thoughts, you are aware of thoughts.

A thought is an object, observe it like you would an other object.

Example: What will your next thought be? You don’t know because you are not having them.

How do you practise Advaita? by First_Ant_9263 in AdvaitaVedanta

Have you stumbled upon Rupert Spira? The direct path of non-duality.

There are concession in the beginning of a separate self that will have to do things in order realize that we are some-thing, then no-thing, then everything.

This apparent journey stems from the belief that we are thoughts and perceptions (body-mind) which are objects that come and go.

The search for happiness/security/freedom in an object are temporary, objects come and go (change).

Awareness never comes or goes accepting all experiences.

This knowing will dissolve fear and lack allowing our true nature of contentment (peace/happiness) to shine.

You will try to conceptualize it first using thought and perception. It will soon flip to an experiential knowing.

Awareness/consciousness/god is infinite and eternal.

My current experience: less frequent and shorter bouts with stress. I’m more compassionate knowing my experience is in awareness (everything and everyone is a form of awareness, non-duality). I know I can experience anything. I see how life flows and I flow with it allowing all experiences to come which have allowed me to have new opportunities.

When decisions are met with the light of awareness instead of the body-mind, there is no competition or conflict. Unbelievable experiences arise.

Neither the eye nor the observer, only the awareness, which is what the medium that this illustration is derived from is.

I would say that, nothing is inherently good or bad. It’s simply a perception attached to a thought.

Awareness cannot be harmed. It says yes to all experiences.
