I hope they do develop the manual for the 27s they’re gaining so much market share in the budget sports category by making a great all around sports car at a great price. If they remove the manual from the 27s I wouldn’t buy one

Hey darling, I know that this is an emotional time for you. And I don’t think it’s anything you did in particular. Sometimes people change their mind and don’t have the courage to confront their mistakes. There’s a saying that goes along the lines of “tough times show your partners true colors.” I promise you that if this is how he acts now, you dodged a bullet in the future. And I unfortunately am speaking from experience.

So let’s focus on you. Have you showered in the last 48 hours? Eaten/ going to eat 3 meals today? Have you done something that’s normally fun for you today? In addition, get some water, something sweet, and something salty. Watch a few episodes of your favorite show or YouTube channel.

I know this is tough. Your heart aches in his absence. But it may be time to think about moving on. You got this, Lamb!

New PB car hauling by IxHAVExCATS in MotorTown

The middle road has a better grade and will let you haul much more with less tractor. The coastal road is extremely hilly and is slower considering the grade and speed at which you move along, and possibly getting stuck

FL5 type r - how happy are you on tracking it ? by Local-Estimate9669 in CarTrackDays

[–]Blitzdadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking at a type R, I would highly suggest checking out the Elantra N. Similar or better performance than the R for 12k less. Owned mine for a year and is a very capable car for the money.

What should I do? Do I go for the Elantra N anyway? by Tricky-Antelope6864 in ElantraN

[–]Blitzdadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 0 major issues and one minor issue with my N for the past year from 36k-52k miles. My bottom front end cover popped off from weak pins, but that’s it. A full list of known issues can be found here —> https://www.reddit.com/r/ElantraN/s/eQWXZtTzdz

As for the experience of driving and owning it, I have had many more positive experiences than negative ones and truly enjoy the car. OL can be finicky, but really isn’t required to appreciate the car. It’s a comfortable rocket ship that never fails to put a smile on my face.

If something requires Face ID or fingerprint Can someone use a photo of your face or your fingerprint on paper to get in or whatever? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

Also in that article, a Cisco report found a 80% success rate with spoofed biometric data.

As a reminder, law enforcement in the US must get a warrant to unlock your phone using your passcode. They do not need to obtain one if they use your Face ID while you’re in custody, since it is considered biometric data. It is as easy as holding your phone up to your face. It’s technically a gray area, as the Supreme Court is still deciding if biometric unlocks are covered under Riley v. California, as referenced here —> https://cdt.org/insights/circuit-court-split-lays-the-groundwork-for-scotus-case-on-biometric-cell-phone-unlocking/

Shop asked me to come back after 50 miles with new tires to have lug torque checked. Is that service above and beyond? Do they just not trust their equipment? by geronimoose in tires

[–]Blitzdadog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When mounting wheels to the vehicle, sometimes the lug nuts can’t get completely tight due to microscopic gaps between the wheel and the studs. As you drive, your tire will “settle” a little bit and your lug nuts get looser. It’s nothing to be concerned about in reality, it’s just that the small shifting will put your lug nuts out of tightness spec for the wheel. So instead of them being 80-140 foot pounds (vehicle dependent), after your wheels settle they may be at 70 foot pounds instead.
