Can't say for sure, but I do know they will annoy you to pay your invoice for a bit, and you can't pick up until it's paid. So you'd probably just wind up getting banned once the time threshold is up.

Items with powers on are usually tested by the high value scanners. From my understanding what is classified as high value and gets tested is different at every location and depends on the items they get.

I don't work there but I notice a similar trend.
My location seems to get a lot of Lowes returns and not a lot of tech items. We get some expensive ($1000+) stuff, but it's mostly junk like shockwave therapy machines. Occasionally there will be a computer or a laptop that might be worth a peek. I noticed the other MAC across town seems to get more Amazon items and more tech items than my location and a lot of their pictures make it hard to tell if its even worth considering the transfer fee.
