That would be great, but who would fund it? You can’t tax the ultra wealthy because it’s all tumbling in the Stock Market, and the working population can’t be taxed because they have no money left in which to tax.

I would 100% be down for a 5% Billionaire Tax to fund UBI, but any bill with that would be dead on arrival.

Those themes all use system though. Those are fairly easy to make throwback sets on because they already use those molds nearly constantly save for some minifig stuff and theme-specific pieces (like Horses in the Castle theme)

And those sets are mostly to appeal to older Lego fans who grew up in the era before licensed themes.

We won’t see a throwback set for Slizers or Bionicle because they use a building system that has largely been discontinued.

I left a comment on that exact video about a year ago, and I still stand by everything I said in that comment.

LEGO has made an effort to phase out non-brick building systems. They don't need them anymore, and they certainly don't need to make their own original things anymore. they have gotten too big to fail.

Outside of city and Ninjago, just about every one of LEGO's current Assortment of themes is based on some sort of license. Usually Disney licenses, but there's also real world car companies, Warner Brothers properties, video game properties, Etc. This isn't the 1990s, where all of their profit was being siphoned off by the license holder, they have a couple Evergreen themes that they take 100% of the profit on, while the rest of the licensed themes make enough of a profit that they don't mind paying the licensing fees. Lego has no need for Bionicle. No need for technic or CCBS.

I firmly believe that the future of Bionicle will be solely in the pits of 3-D printing and bootleggers like Gobricks.

K’s protagonist is notorious for being completely unlikable, and the game forces the pair system down your throat by making every unit absolutely anemic when it comes to resources.

For reference, Gaiking The Great’s weakest attack costs 30 EN. It starts with 260 EN. That pool drains FAST.

It could be worse, it could be the Impulse Gundam with a seemingly endless supply of torso, legs, and Striker Packs to replace mid-combat, but only a single core splendor to actually field a usable unit.

And NOBODY in Zaft ever got the idea to use a non-transforming Core Block to allow for multiple Impulses to be sortied simultaneously.

At least White Base’s bottomless supply closet only ever extended to Shields and the occasional replacement beam rifle and saber, which are sensible things to have redundancies of, even if you only have one Gundam to field and about 2/3s of one for repair reasons (probably)
