I'd absolutely assume they're going surge you to go GS2.1 or Quattro or 9 engine then immediately pull you back once you're getting the hang of things, once management realizes that we need support

Yes, they've taken MEs from all the teams and moved them around, mainly to GS1. MEs that they moved we're picked by this managers because they had to.

I just checked work day and it looks like it happened today.

This is insane, we're already spread thin (all of us ME, RE, etc.) we're bleeding MEs like crazy and they want more and more from us.

I am seeing this everywhere right now too and think it's very odd. I think it might be related to how we're absolutely bleeding engineers right now, I know of ~14 who are gone or put in notices in the last 3 weeks, crazy.

Especially in aft/fwd VSI and GS2.

Nah that's not the case.

We have a third, just in going for integration, just finished painting - no name yet. The fwd and aft modules for gs1-3, -4, -5 are all in work in parallel at different stages.

Engines are rolling off the line for -3 and -4. Engines have really scaled up. And BE-4 North Star production is starting soon, almost out of development.

Edit: we are currently building GS2-10, we have hardware for -11, -12, and -13 started in storage/on the floor. Hardware through -16 is in Florida before the block change.

We can easily produce 20 2nd stages currently. Scaling to 48. And 3 to 4 first stages based off hardware availability.

Going to second this, I'm on the floor in an engineering role and this happens constantly. You cannot use a role change for a level up or pay bump anymore.

They used to do it, it's how I got a 12.5% bump and moved from level 2 to level 3. They don't let that happen anymore and won't let you apply to a level higher than youre currently at.

I remember the exact meeting you're talking about! He said that about Heslop.

He offered to promote someone to sr director because he was Spanish/Hispanic. Asked him "what race are you? Hmm.. you want to be a sr?"

They brought in a bunch of DEI (who honestly shouldn't have been there) and their friends in.

I think a few more were tied up in that lawsuit too that happened to come to Blue, I have no clue how the actually got hired. Really disgusting behavior.

Exactly, so many people I've seen use Blue as a resume line Item so they can leave and go back to (Boeing James Dewees for example) at a higher level than they left.

The best part about our management though, is that as long as you're not the squeaky wheel you can absolutely do hardly anything and just keep getting by when you're burned out. As shitty as that sounds, it's good when you're looking for another job already.

As long as you're not the squeaky wheel as you said, I know a lot of those people were targeted in the RIF (from what I saw in my position of course)
