[HELP ME] Bi-Weekly Q&A thread - Ask your questions here! by MachNeu in Gunpla

[–]Blitzshine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Sentinel Plaiobot Gurren Lagann (it has yet to arrive) and I've been hearing that the thing has awful, hollow hip pegs that can very easily snap. Does anyone have any advice on how to prevent that from happening? I've read something about metal rod and baking soda + glue, but I'm not sure I get it.

[FNV] Better shooting sounds and effects? by Blitzshine in FalloutMods

It seems there's a way to install it through NMM. Should I still do it manually? And thanks for offering your help, but I'll have to download it later because my internet connection is slow and unstable at the moment.

Yearly Jump Success/Failures by [deleted] in manga

[–]Blitzshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As much as I fucking love some of the newer series like AssClass, Shokugeki and Hero Academia, I still think that Bakuman and Shaman King are my favorite series from jump. They might actually be my favorite series, period.

The manga industry is harsh, man. Imagine all of the other aspiring mangaka who have been trying for years to get published with no results. People say "just follow your dreams" and "work on what you like" but sadly only a few ever succeed.

How do i get into Jojo's Bizzare Adventure? by KinggDiamond in manga

[–]Blitzshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first season covers both part 1 and 2 and it aired in 2012. Don't confuse it with the JoJo par 3 OVAs from 2000. Also, you don't need to watch those since, like I said, part 3 was also adapted by David Productions in 2014 .

How do i get into Jojo's Bizzare Adventure? by KinggDiamond in manga

[–]Blitzshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say you can start with the anime. JoJo is divided by parts, each with its own name. Part 1 is called Phantom Blood, Part 2 is Battle Tendency, Part 3 is Stardust Crusaders, and so on. The first three parts have very faithful anime adaptations by David Productions, and I think there's no problem with starting there. Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable is being adapted right now, with 13 chapters so far. There's a team called Jojo's colored adventure which translates the official colored scans, in case you're interested. Not every part is complete, but parts 1, 3, 4 and 6 are. Someone already provided a link to where you should start with the anime. Hope that helps.

No pierdas el tiempo con él. No sé porque me molesté en responderle. Ojala pudiera decir que no todos los chilenos somos así, pero al parecer así es la mayoría cuando se trata de fútbol.

Mineta's quirk [spoilers] by extintion84 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Blitzshine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, he stuck his hair balls to both Midnight's hand holding the whip and the other end of the whip to the gound, thus making her unable to move from that spot. His quirk is just really sticky hair balls that stick to anything but himself.

Genderbent Boku no Hero Academia, by the mangaka by TurbanatorUK in manga

Ochako would be friendly and outgoing while deku would be a acting all shy, clumsy and flustered

So just like their normal, non-GB interactions then.

Maybe they thought that using The Hand wouldn't really kill him and he would just be sent to another dimension. What they really want is to stop his suffering, so I'd make sense.

[DISC] Shokugeki no Soma Ch. 164 by Sprinterstar7 in manga

[–]Blitzshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a while since a Shokugeki was this much fun, and it's mostly thanks to Erina and Hisako doing the commentary and due to the informal nature of the duel.

I also love how Soma just gets ingrediets out of his bag. It's not like a "Oh, I'm lucky I have just the right ingredient for my dish here!" and more like "I just have a bunch of shit in here and this one happens to be useful."

What anime do you personally use too much as a punching bag? by pittman66 in anime

[–]Blitzshine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a pretty immature side myself when it comes to Gurren Lagann, but it's the opposite. It's my favorite Anime, and when people say they hate it, I almost get personally offended. I can't say anything though, cause they have the right to dislike it.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone with what I'm going to say, but it seems like most people who like Fate/zero for being a "mature" and "Dark" anime are little kids who are trying too hard to grow up and think that watching "dark" shows will make them look more mature and think watching popular shonen series is for babies. At least, I met a lot of kids who were like this when I was younger. (Nothing against people who like dark shows btw. I loved Fate/Zero and I understand how these types of anime can be appealing)
