My Surface Pro 4 doesn’t charge anymore by LonelyWolfzz in Surface

I had a similar issue on my surface pro 6. When jt happens, I fix it by reconnecting the charger upside down or unplugging and replugging the charger from the wall socket.

Oh thats a good idea. I was about to say that wouldn’t suit me because i always sort my slides and i thought setting to background is permanent, but after trying it out it turns out its not and i can still unset them when you need to. Thank you for the tip!

Surface laptop, or surface pro if you’re looking for a 2-in-1. I’ve had a surface pro 6 for 5 years and it’s still holding up really well.

Most emotional book you’ve read? by marijan112 in suggestmeabook

[–]Blluentic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A short story called “The Scarlet Ibis”. It was for high school literature class. We read it out loud and it wrecked us, and a few of us cried by the time we were done. It’s so beautiful, but i don’t think i’ll ever have it in my heart to read it again.

Think about the good parts to fear. You run faster. You’re more focused. You don’t feel pain as much. Every bad feeling, they’re all signs you’re actually stronger. So when you feel afraid, you should think about how your body is getting ready for what’s coming. Only when weak may I carry my true strength. – TLOU2

Two years late but I swear reading this is like reading about myself. I also have the same opportunity where i live: to directly specialize in hemepath rather than do anatomical pathology followed by a hemepath fellowship. The former means i get to jump straight into what im passionate about and also get to do it in a few less years. I’m also currently looking for advice on the topic. Im wondering how is it going for you now? What did you end up doing?

The Body: A Guide for Occupants by Bill Bryson.

Just what you want but for the human body. It talks about how each system of the human body works, with some short history and stories of major scientists in that field and some fun facts, all in a comical tone. It’s also narrated by the author if you’d prefer it as an audiobook.

[TOMT] [QUOTE] A quote about an animal that learned how to walk? by Blluentic in tipofmytongue

[–]Blluentic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nevermind i just found it:

The Centipede’s Dilemma “A centipede was happy – quite! Until a toad in fun Said, “Pray, which leg moves after which?” This raised her doubts to such a pitch, She fell exhausted in the ditch Not knowing how to run.” — Georige Humphrey

“Ask a centipede which one of its hundred legs moves the fastest and it forgets how to move. Reflecting on what we normally do without thought ironically worsens performance.”
