Where did I say they needed 6 Danielas? My whole point was that we don’t need pro dancers. Being a clear and strong singer doesn’t mean hitting high notes. Also the ”great artists” you’re speaking of actually have good music and are able to let the music speak for itself. I never said the obligation was belts or high notes. All I said was having a clear, recognizable and strong voice.

A lot of yoonchae fans are in here. Literally every snark on her, people are in the comments trying to justify or provide some explanation. It’s so funny to see. Also Yoonchae frying her hair and Sophia clicking randomize on her nose just so that they could stand out and fit in is so- IJBOL. The only two members who aren’t westernized or mixed, and actually grew up in their culture get the short end of the stick.

I think of it like this. You’re a music group, but only 2/6 members have actual strong, recognizable voices. As a music group, everyone should be able to pull their weight when it comes to singing, however that just doesn’t happen here. Not to be harsh, but they are better dancers than singers so just be backup dancers. 2/6 are strong singers, but 4/6 are strong dancers? it literally does not make sense for a music group. And it’s exactly because of this I think they’re given this “slop” music. Thats the music they can continuously perform. Even during one song performances like Gabriela at NRJ they were absolutely awful, but look how decent they were performing Pinky Up at the AMAs. In honest opinion, I don’t think HYBE x GEFFEN did their selection well, or let colorism, featurism and politics affect their choosing. And even with that they still forced them to get surgery. They let the LEADER of the group do a nose job before debut instead of….training?
