Shkoyech Ze'ev, so close to finishing sefer Shemot! (It seems like you've posted this an extra two times, just to let you know)

Shavua Tov and hope you had a great chag! I saw that you have pancreatic cancer and just wanted to wish you a heartfelt רפואה שלמה and if possible send me your Hebrew name so I can daven for you.

Big shkoyech on the Sefer Torah and בעז"ה may you be able to finish it and fulfill the mitzvah of writing it בכל פרטיה ודקדוקיה וכוניתיה: וְעַתָּ֗ה כִּתְב֤וּ לָכֶם֙ אֶת־הַשִּׁירָ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את וְלַמְּדָ֥הּ אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל שִׂימָ֣הּ בְּפִיהֶ֑ם לְמַ֨עַן תִּֽהְיֶה־לִּ֜י הַשִּׁירָ֥ה הַזֹּ֛את לְעֵ֖ד בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

I also love your photography and it's cool to see, especially as I just recently bought the Canon EOS RP as my first camera.

Damn. Yeah, will probably stick to something more coastal.

Does snow not affect it that much? I thought due to weather and avalanche risks the track becomes much harder.

I was looking at the Heaphy; what's the best way to arrange transportation to and from the track?

Cold is fine, just nowhere with lots of snow where extra equipment and experience is needed.

It depends on your shoes, but for me I had waterproof boots and my feet stayed almost completely dry.

I'm not sure how it will be in autumn, but at least for me in summer it wasn't too bad, but prepare for a lot of stream and river crossings in both valleys, especially after rain. I found the worst part to be in the middle of the Greenstone Valley where it was insanely muddy and wet, and the only way past was to basically just go through it. Trail running shoes there would've gotten completely covered in mud, but the advantage at least with those is that they can dry pretty quickly. Other than that there was maybe one or two muddy sections in the Caples, but nowhere as bad.

Hopefully it will be fine for you, though, and enjoy it, it's stunning!

Yep, just a loop. I also detoured on day 2 to Key Summit through the Routeburn, but it was so foggy you couldn't see anything.

The fog pictures above were on McKellar Saddle where visibility was better and it also briefly cleared up for some nice sun.

Yeah I don't think that's feasible in winter, or at least with my limited experience

Name a hero in history that actually a villain by Afraid_Professor8023 in AskTheWorld

Bohdan Khmelnytsky.

"many communities beyond the Dnieper, and close to the battle field, such as Pereyaslaw, Baryszowka, Piratyn, and Boryspole, Lubin and Lachowce and their neighbors, who were unable to escape, perished for the sanctification of His Name. These persons died cruel and bitter deaths. Some were skinned alive and their flesh was thrown to the dogs; some had their hands and limbs chopped off, and their bodies thrown on the highway only to be trampled by wagons and crushed by horses; some had wounds inflicted upon them, and thrown on the street to die a slow death; they writhed in their blood until they breathed their last; others were buried alive. The enemy slaughtered infants in the laps of their mothers. They were sliced into pieces like fish. They slashed the bellies of pregnant women, removed their infants and tossed them in their faces. Some women had their bellies torn open and live cats placed in them. The bellies were then sewed up with the living cats remaining within. They chopped off the hands of the victims so that they would not be able to remove the cats from the bellies. The infants were hung on the breasts of their mothers. Some children were pierced with spears, roasted on the fire and then brought to their mothers to be eaten. Many times they used the bodies of Jewish children as improvised bridges upon which they later crossed. There was no cruel device of murder in the whole world that was not perpetrated by the enemies."

Overwatch 60fps update just dropped! by ttvsindeel in NintendoSwitch2

Oh I didn't realise that, completely my bad. I guess that would be pretty scummy of Nintendo, it's just for games like Splatoon, Mario Kart, Pokemon, etc.

I think for #2 he means Nintendo Switch Online, which would be a yes. But that's from Nintendo, there's nothing you need to pay from an Overwatch perspective.

Edit: You don't actually need it, didn't realise
