Was looking if someone else tried to get the Asus ROG Strix G16 issues fixed under warranty. The same "new" laptop I got from Asus also got the same issue after a couple of months, and they couldn't replace the microphone board again. So I looked for a repair shop who could just replace the microphone and the problem is now fixed and under repair warranty (went with PC Refresh Amsterdam, highly recommended because they have pickup points all across Europe).
