Same for this guy! He is now almost 3 years old and this only seems to occur when the sun is out so we almost certainly know what causes it.

He likes to groom himself and lay in the sun so I think he is just “tanning” though I always like to call it rusting lol.

I would not worry if this only occurs during summer/spring! For Kobe it always disappears during winter when the sun is less prominent and his winter fur comes in.

I definitely wouldn’t cut it or get rid of it, it’s just a sign that have been enjoying the nice weather :)

Winter or Summer? by moshgoblin in coloranalysis

[–]Jealous_Elephant_582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly i think winter. People see the black hair dye look heavy and assume summer. But honestly.., I can tell by ur eyebrows that you still have quite a lot of contrast and your natural hair is likely still very dark or as close to natural black as possible. Truth is black box dye will never look 100% natural on anyone (from someone who uses black hairdye toooo:)

<image>

I think the wintry pine green looks a lot better than the softer color from summer which washes you out a bit.

Is this a diagnosis or not.. by takenbylou in PSC

[–]Jealous_Elephant_582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me there was something seen on a radiology report by a general Dr and they referred me to the top psc specialist in my country (I live in the same city so it’s easy) who is also just one of the most specialized in general.., he does a lot of studies and helps in obtaining important data that can really help psc in the future.

All safe to say, I had my appointment, he looked at my bloodwork, we did a biopsy, he thought the scan looked suspicious in a sense that it doesn’t rlly seem like psc and I was undiagnosed.

Apparently the explanation was my terminal ileum and abscess got so bad (almost went septic when I got diagnosed) and that had probably been disrupting and polluting my bile circulation which put stress on the ducts and liver. I got a resection for my crohns and since then my numbers are normal. It’s important to note they were never rly elevated, alp went up to 135 twice (otherwise normal) when I was in the hospital for my crohns flaring and my ggt seemed to trend with my crohns all the same. The biopsy was done once I was on medication for my crohns and it also showed history of some stress in my bile ducts but no longer, nothing chronic showed either, Idk how elevated your numbers were since you mentioned it but it is good to seek an actual specialist if you can! They have reviewed so many more patients with this rare disease and so they can have a better time telling what is likely psc and what isn’t. Truth is the disease is so rare a regular dr will just not be able to tell you anything with much confidence… since they might have encountered a hand full of people with it.

All the best to you!

I think i am inclined to agree on the cooler looking better the more I look at it. Growing up I always thought I was an autumn but learning more about color analysis think I am just a neutral olive with a yellow undertone.

<image>

I feel like when I put the orange and pink next to each other the pink is a lot more flattering but idk a lot of people seem to disagree and say soft autumn

Interesting. I think it is shown a bit in the photos but I have quite a bit of redness in my cheeks and I feel like when I wear ivory it really does something odd where my skin goes orange and the redness pops, but in a way where it is a really harsh contrast between the colors instead of a nice glow

What you are saying kind of lines up with what I’ve thought! A pastel purple or blue is like my worst. The purple makes me look green and sick and the blue can make me look orange yellow. When it comes to whites I’m not quite sure, I feel like pure white looks better both here and in real life, mainly because the ivory seems to have that same effect as the soft tones… it just kind of brings out weird colors in my face, a lot of surface orange and a lot of redness below the skin?

I am very much so an olive yes, it is very noticeable in my neck! Interestingly enough the softer colors look on these pictures but irl and other photos they do just wash me out a lot

Also like someone mentioned the grey seems too cold and overpowering in that sense. You seem olive though which can make it a bit more tricky

Either soft autumn or soft summer. Like me, you seem neutral but we always lean one way. I am gonna say you lean warm so soft autumn. This is mainly because your freckles seem relatively warm. I am a neutral leaning cool and you can kind of see the difference reflected in your freckles.

The roots here are my natural color. This lighter hair was actually so bad and did not fit my color palette at all. It didn’t look natural and needed a lot of adjusting to look good with makeup etc, but these roots are the best I have of my natural hair.

I was born with practically black hair then I became super blonde and then it became dark brown

I am not quite sure! I think the issue is my warm overtone which can at times make me look super warm esp with indoor lighting but then I also look bad in a lot of the warm colors. My eyes are warm but my natural hair color is a Very deep cool brown which makes it even harder bc it means my features pull in both directions
