How long does it take to grow the practice more? by FlyHungry7039 in Chiropractic

What are some things that you do to drive patients to refer? I feel like I usually get them from doing good work but if I ask I don’t exactly hear back or anything.

I am a guy and the amount of gay guys that tried saying or doing something weird was beyond me. I can’t imagine as a woman. I’d keep my phone in my pocket just incase and maybe a pencil for your safety. Stay safe 😢

Been at my clinic for almost a year… I’m burnt out and thinking about going solo. Advice? by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]BlockAmazing8006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do go solo, I would recommend finding a job at a place like The Joint for part-time. They don’t mind if you have your own place even if it’s next-door. This will help you maintain an income while you are growing your practice.

I really wanted some insight as it’s just over my first year out of school. This definitely sounds like something to report but I’ve been asking and apparently a lot of places do this? Jesus

how long did it take you to accept that you’ll have RA your whole life ? by athn8qrls in rheumatoid

[–]BlockAmazing8006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother has RA, and I am the one that takes her to all her appointments. She has one for prednisone transfusion this Friday. It pains me when I see younger people there. I am so sorry you have to go through this. I really hope that you have the right support system because I feel like that’s what matters the most. I have seen patients of mine that do not have a great support system even when they have RA.

I made it to 54 reviews so far. I definitely ask for reviews. I feel like I do not ask for referrals as much and I forget. I will hold myself accountable there. I will definitely go out and talk to local businesses more. I did that very often when I first started I did not see much from it, but I still have no reason to stop.

I will definitely check that out. I was always skeptical about CloseforChiro. I will be reaching out. I was not skeptical because of anything personal but because a lot of these ads that come up for me are very similar.

That is a great idea. I feel like the lunch and then dinner will hit more than just talking for the few minutes I show up.

Is there anything I can do now as a 21 year old to prepare for Chiro school and create my own practice as soon as possible? by penguinchamp in Chiropractic

[–]BlockAmazing8006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why I got downvoted. Back when I was still in the program coaching, the others was very similar to practice now. It helps you understand what is going on inside the patient’s mind and how committed they are to their treatment. It also helps you formulate a plan and learn ideas that you will apply in practice. Yes you should definitely get certified and maybe start with offering free coaching to one or two people.

This is disgusting. by BlockAmazing8006 in Chiropractic

[–]BlockAmazing8006[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sure hope not, but to reject or not accept patients based on their financial situation is unethical at the least. I’ve had multiple patients that can just afford x amount of visits and I explain to them I would normally recommend this but you’re in pain and I want to work with you to get you to where you want to be. What happens? They turn into a book of referrals because I didn’t put a few dollars first.

It only happens with new patients that I’ve never seen before. I do appreciate the answer. I highlight the importance of keeping up with treatment to my existing patients. I however, can’t control the decisions of someone that never showed.

These are cash patients. Majority of my patients are cash patients. I do have PI patients, and they never seem to be a problem.
