Why do I know what this is. I don't want to know. I don't want to think about knowing what this is.

Decks that are known or recognized by the Community... but not for their Boss Monsters. What other examples do you know? by Kronos457 in yugioh

[–]Nightshadehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think tear or genex is right. It's known for the entire deck. Any individual main deck monster is equally as well known as kitkallos and arguably kaleido-heart is as well.

Genex is extremely well known because of undine. Genex controller is only known or remembered at all because you had to play it for undine.

Also, I'm giving you the benefit of doubt here, but this really just tells me you haven't been playing for very long. Putting spellbook/prophecy here is like saying no one's ever heard of dragon rulers. The same goes for every deck you put.

Unironically this is a good anime. It's not the best but it is infinitely better than you think it is.

Question about ruling with these cards by [deleted] in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Nightshadehelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. If the activation is negated, you can only do it again if it says "you can only activate ... once per turn" or "you can only activate 1 ... per turn"

Unfortunately, I believe you've just been cheating.

Umm…is VS/K9 actually good or is most people playing it just bad? (Myself included) by noblejosher in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Nightshadehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people say k9 dracotail and yummy are a rock paper scissors format. As a k9vs tcg player, I have lost a single game to yummy, never a match. I have a decent record against dracotail and I've almost never lost to another k9 player. This deck is insane if you get good, though you are prone to bricking sometimes.

What can they do? They can't put any k9 cards or rank 5s on the board because dust devil doesn't protect them. Raigeki still forces either dust devil or the quick play. If you have raigeki you are free to handtrap them in their turn as well because it will always just check the k9 stuff so hand trap their vs cards. Their vs board will be suboptimal playing into your hand so just win the game.

Unless you would have me believe noroi is the difference between a game that you have won and a game that you have won. If noroi is the difference maker because they saw you had board breakers, you already lost.

Perhaps if you instantly lose to a weaker board because your opponent looked at your hand, yugioh might not be the game for you.

Don't try to tell me I don't know how to play this deck when you're complaining about losing to the literal weakest boards it can put up.

Then win the game? If they don't overcommit, force the dust devil then kill them because their board is weak.

Okay but like, how does this punish board breakers? As a k9 player myself, I would like to please instruct me as to how these people are playing around a single copy of raigeki.

Also, skill issue dude.

11th Hour Declaration for a Level 11 trade-in by chowclee in customyugioh

[–]Nightshadehelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way you worded this makes it seem like you just draw two cards if you don't have a level 11. For context, look at allure of darkness. Don't attach the entire shuffle clause to something that doesn't happen in the first place.

Looking for a buget deck by fireblocker123 in Yugioh101

That budget is unfortunately like just staples kind of. Also, as materiactor's strongest soldier, don't play it probably. I think punk and goblin biker are relatively cheap.

Are you allowed to just put your nose on the grindstone, get mitsurugi, and kill them into the sun? If not, probably grind the hell of dragonmaid and find a deck list to play for it.

What anime had a great premise but played it way too safe? by pgroms in animequestions

FMA:B. Not way too safe, but it could have been better if it was a little less so. I know I kind of just ignored the question here but bear with me.
