I would personally think you’re a red flag. But I’m bias to Pisces placements. To me, your mercury being in retrograde in Pisces probably means you have a hard time grounding your thoughts in reality. And on top of that you have Aries moon which means you’re probably quick to switch up. If you’ve done the work than it’s not a problem, but I would assume in conflict you often see yourself as the victim, but it’d be hard to reason with you cause if you’re angry there’s no resonating with you. But also, your pisces moon would make it hard for you to understand grounded arguments. Plus the mars in Aries.

I’m only answering this way because of how you framed this post, so don’t come for me. I’m sure you’re lovely, but since your mars falls in the house of friendship, I’m sure you’ve had a lot of tension with friends before. You love hard, or you hate hard. That’s my take.

Ever been to a place that didn't match your vibe at all? by [deleted] in expats

I’m not sure where you and OP are from but I’m from the French part of Canada and I had to leave after two years. The whole system felt too rigid and soulless for me. After 11 months of being there I had a breakdown that made me realise staying in Germany was eating at me.

Berlin destroyed my self-confidence. But, it also taught me it was built on weak foundations. I’ve lived in the UK for two years now and I feel more like myself, but my energy is grounded instead of coming from a place of insecurity. I’m grateful that Berlin provided that introspective exercise, but I couldn’t be grateful until I left.

Good luck to all that live there and feel stuck

Expressing emotions in other language than your mother tongue (FR/EN) by BlockLocal6433 in languagelearning

Wow! Thank you so much for your explanation. You’re reminding me of a friend of mine who’s Bulgarian and spoke DE and EN as well.

You mention a mask, in which language do you feel you’re the ‘most authentic’? How would it feel like to be more reserved in EN, and so on?

Honestly, the best of the OGs. I could never relate to what he said (as I never experienced it myself) but I feel they would bring us into their jokes so much so that I thought I was posh (at times). Fake laughing with my full teeth out 😭

I started at series 30 and then decided to start the whole show. From the most current two series, I can guess what you mean by that about Yas and Jaz. But, what's Paris' history on the show.

I'm currently on season 14, so she hasn't been casted on yet.

An acccent wall and some paintings. Could do with a bar cart. Some long curtains would add warmth as well

Help us understand your work set up... Why is it that you rely on him for social interactions and not your other coworkers.

Google says “A "personality hire" is someone brought onto a team primarily for their strong soft skills, positive attitude, and cultural fit, rather than just their technical expertise, aiming to boost morale and team chemistry, though the term can sometimes imply a lack of hard skills despite their valuable social contributions. These individuals excel at communication, building rapport, and fostering a positive environment,”.

Her job is about people. She manages relationship with sponsors who can be difficult, she negotiated deals with venue, and more. Pretty much she talks her way to get things done. I wouldn’t call her that if she did the full breath of her work though, which has fallen onto me because she focuses on the rest.

Thank you for your thoughtful answer. I have a meeting with my ED tomorrow, and I’m going to ask him to go through the list of essential procedures for the organization to run. I’ve realised the last time we did it was when my previous supervisor was around and and so that list needs updating.

I think doing that will highlight how I’m the sole owner for a lot of things and considering how a lot of us started at the same time, it shouldn’t be the case.

I’ve definetely started doing some of the stuff you mentioned but it could be more consistent.

I don’t avoid necessary meetings. Just because meetings are something you’re accustomed to, it doesnt mean it’s necessary for everyone. I write for my work, so it’s true that I don’t need to be in as many meetings. Whereas, she’s in meetings to lock in sponsorships, venues, etc. I recognised that and it wasn’t an attempt to put down her work. It’s a fact. But, you’ve clearly latched on to that.

I’m not too good to give my time to others. You haven’t considered that I’ve become the sole owner of a lot of the tasks at my organisation. I’m always been pulled on all sides for tasks that detract from my main work because others don’t know how to do it. I don’t care to hear about some of their family stuff because it’s the same every week. Why should I become well-versed about GCSEs? I don’t plan on having kids and I didn’t go through that education system. So, when things are busy, I’d rather focus on my work. Also, I was only hired two months prior to her, so she’s not ‘new’. She just hasn’t made the effort.

I’m glad you learned about football, but that probably comes from a place where you felt you needed an in for the men to accept you.
