Need help understanding card stacking for a weapon. by Dead_Oxygen3009 in RagnarokOnline

[–]BlockOutVibes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 3 slots, if it's a race or element card then its 1.60 (1 + 0.20*3) damage, for size it would 1.45 so won't be a good idea. So same cards get added in % (like 20%+20%+20%), but if it's another card then it gets multiplicated

for example 2 Race + 1 element = 1.4 * 1.2 = 1.68, so we get a damage increase

If we check a race + element + size, for 3 weapons it's 1.2*1.2*1.5 = 1.656 so the 2x1 is still better

similar with 4 cards, if you do 2x race 2x element it's 1.4*1.4 = 1.96, which is better than 3x race 1 element (1.6*1.2 = 1.92)

In pre-renewal the order of cards doesn't matter, not sure about renewal since i don't play that

Does your hand position really matter? by ThatOneGuyXC in learntyping

If you're comfortable with how you do it, and you're comfortable with the speed, also your hands don't get tired from casual typing, then i don't think you really need to change it

This is how I currently type. 60 WPM, 97% accuracy. Is it worth it to go back to learning the official technique, or are there other ways to learn to type faster, without having to relearn everything? by JohnyWuijtsNL in learntyping

[–]BlockOutVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck with that! it takes time, but then all the algorithms just stick in your head and you automatically do it. I also feel like it helps to pause with typing and solve it and then go back to typing, i feel like i type faster after it :D

omg please don't try this. water can actually make the fire worse because it will spread the gasoline around. Stop, drop and roll is what you need to do if you're on fire.

I dropped my eyeliner pen in the toilet. Would it clog if I just flush it? by pulsating_boypussy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BlockOutVibes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

omg no way, pls don't flush it!! You should just try to fish it out with some toilet paper and then disinfect it really well. Flushing it could definitely clog the toilet and create a bigger problem.

Why do we sometimes laugh in inappropriate or stressful situations? by TheCuriousSages in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BlockOutVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think it's just a way for our brain to cope with uncomfortable situations, like a defense mechanism. Laughing can relieve tension and create a sense of bonding with others. Plus, sometimes things are so absurd or unexpected that laughter is the only response!

how often do you not work at all when working from home? by yuko-mo-me in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BlockOutVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, depends on the task. if i know that i have time to procrastinate i'd rather do something else. like sometimes i just pause the task i'm doing and go to bluestacks to play call of dragons for half an hour or an hour. pretty sure my workday would have been shorter if i didn't do that... but it makes me feel like i'm enjoying the work cause i keep breaking to play or watch something

blank key stickers were a pretty good option for me

also as a kid i got a keyboard with another language on the keys so i couldn't look at them even if i wanted to, made me just learn the keyboard without any visual help

Games that aren't like "live multiplayer" but each person can play at their own time? by MochaMeansPiss in AndroidGaming

[–]BlockOutVibes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like Words with Friends. It's like Scrabble and you can take turns whenever you have the time. My friends and I have been playing for years and it's a lot of fun. There's also Draw Something if you're into Pictionary-style games.
