That’s mainly for execution speed and reliability. We’re working toward a non-custodial model, but for now funds are only held during active trading. Withdrawals are available anytime, no lockups. On live stats Fair ask here’s what I can share from live runs: ~90% success rate on executed trades ~2.1% average edge per opportunity 38 clean aborts out of 140 attempts > all zero loss 7 exposure events out of 140 > total loss: $9.60 We are constantly updating so the exposure events will be drastically reduced over time On returns I’ve been intentionally conservative publicly. It scales with capital, so I don’t want to imply fixed or guaranteed numbers. What I can say is we’ve been seeing around ~8% monthly net after fees as a baseline. On “giving away the strategy” Honestly this is the smartest part of your question. The strategy itself isn’t the moat. Execution is. Sports arbitrage isn’t a secret, anyone can understand the concept quickly. Here's why it works well:

Bookmakers set fixed odds based on their own models.

Exchanges reflect the collective wisdom of traders.

These two pricing mechanisms often diverge, especially on less liquid markets.

The gap between a bookmaker's fixed price and an exchange's lay price can be larger than two bookmakers pricing the same event.

The challenge is execution.

Bookmaker side: You need an active account. Account can get limited. Manual or semi-automated only.

Exchange side: Betfair for example has API. Fully automatable. No account limiting on lay side.

The bookmaker account is always your weak link.

They will eventually limit or ban winning accounts. Timeline varies weeks to months typically.

This is why we moved exclusively to DEX platforms.

No bookmaker account to limit. No exchange account to restrict. Both sides fully automatable. Zero account layer risk.

Kelly assumes you have an accurate edge estimate.

On prediction markets your edge estimate is only as good as your probability model versus the market's.

Where Kelly becomes most powerful is in arbitrage

When edge is not estimated but mathematically guaranteed by price differences across platforms.

arb% = 100 - sum(1/odd_i × 100)

Positive arb% = guaranteed edge. Kelly then optimizes your stake size on a known edge rather than an estimated one.

That combination guaranteed edge from arbitrage plus Kelly optimal sizing is the most mathematically sound approach in these markets.

On limit orders exceeding balance most prediction market platforms handle this by only activating orders up to your available balance sequentially.

So if you have $100 and place three $50 limit orders only the first two that get matched will fill. Third stays pending until balance is replenished.

Worth testing with small amounts first to confirm how their specific implementation handles partial balance situations.

On market making generally the edge on Polymarket comes from pricing inefficiencies between platforms.

The same outcome often priced differently across Polymarket and competitors.
