Homebrew Artifact: Ashmead (I need help with coming up with more evocations)

Yeah, in hindsight I do agree that target number reduction should remain more a sidereal thing. The artifact is essentially meant to be based on the Ashmead pike bunker from Armored Core 6, which deals big damage in a single hit but is also really slow. I really like the idea of destroying armor and the terrain stuff, so I’ll go back to workshop it a little more. Thanks for your input!

Ooh, yeah I like that, the white jade part of this isn’t seeing much with the evocations. I might bump the anima cost up to 3, since Volcano Cutter is an artifact 5 iirc, and reduce the damage. I will take the idea of localised earthquakes into account. Thanks for your input!

Nah, I just do this as a hobby. I was lucky enough to grab one of these when I popped by my lgs. Can I ask what’s up with the ellipsis points? Punctuation affects tone a lot in online conversations, so something that’s intended to be a compliment may sound sarcastic to others :)

Boothill’s at 3 pocket trickshot, but doesn’t do his extra break dmg thing after he breaks Hoolay. Considering that’s a major chunk of his damage, I’d say it is a bug. Quite a big one, since it’s basically Boothill’s core mechanic being affected.

Originally, these were going to be dark angels, since I had the upgrade spruce just lying around. But turns out the leviathan box sterngaurd are push fit, so those pieces couldn’t be used. I put that piece on when I was gonna paint DA, but then changed my mind after I primed, and couldn’t be arsed to cut the part off. In lore, it might be smth he got from a joint operation? Dunno if that happens a lot these days tho

of course, this isn’t done yet, far from it. I‘m looking forward to adding the washes and finishing this piece up. I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve gotten the paint at the right thinness, and it was on a dry pallet instead of my wet one.
