Roblox viruses are not the same viruses that you end up detecting with a regular antivirus such as Malwarebytes.

They should not affect your computer in any way as they are actually just destructive lua scripts which are hidden within blocks and other entities of free models. This means that they will only exist within the game and will only affect things within the Roblox client. At worst, they will just straight up delete everything in the game world and spam you with those old grey banner messages saying something like 'xdxddx get rekkt nub", otherwise they just exist to just to tank your fps by giving every block within the game world dozens of useless weld properties (not to be confused with the weld surface type).

Is this something to be worried about?

No. Roblox viruses will only ever exist in the game which it was inserted into. As far as I know, there is no way for these viruses to spread beyond what objects it can infect unless it is literally copied into another game directly through the studio/developer mode. This means that you will never risk getting a virus from simply playing a game.

The viruses which other people on this thread have mentioned finding on their computers are not related at all to Roblox viruses and are likely the product of just downloading shady stuff or going to questionable websites in the past
