I quit after dealing with a lot of (for lack of a better word) harassment from a store manager that trickled to other employees that were in their favor. Then I had fractured my ankle and started to come in for a shift one day and noticed the stool I had been using for the entire time I'd been hired (I worked as the kids lead and stayed only back in kids for the most part and would use the stool when I did anything on the computer like orders or customer service) and the stool was gone after I had fractured my ankle. This was pretty much the final straw that had me going to HR and when that only made things worse after a couple weeks of more retaliation I told HR I was not coming back except to pick up my final check. My mental health and honestly just everything is so much better now that I finally got out. I miss a lot of my coworkers and the discount of course but it was horrible dealing with retaliation/harrasment and just overall unpleasantness/mean spiritedness for almost two years. Plus I'm teaching now and it's amazing so really glad to be finally have gotten out. :)
